Dr. Stephen Pretzer, DDS

My son is autistic and does not like folks poking around in his mouth. Dr. Pretzel and his awesome team helped walk my son through the process and kept my son comfortable. I strongly recommend Dr Pretzel!

Dr. Pretzer is the best pediatric dentist!! I really could not imagine a better dentist for children! We feel so blessed to have found him. He is extremely knowledgeable, as well as patient and detailed in his explanations, and he goes the extra mile, and gives his patients excellent dental care. He is also very warm, friendly, and fun, and takes a genuine personal interest in the kids he is treating, and makes his patients feel so at home! We have taken our three children to his practice for many years, and they actually look forward to going to the dentist and ask if it is time to go back! The staff is wonderful, and the office is modern, very well-equipped, bright, clean, and cheery, with a fun coastal and surfing theme! We highly recommend their practice, especially Dr. Pretzer!

The staff was very welcoming, patient, informative, and thorough. The doctor knew just how to handle a little one that was nervous. So much so my little one was compliant and didn’t shed a single tear. I was in awe of how swift he examined him all the while telling him everything he was going to do. They have a happy momma and tot that will be back in 6 months.

Dr. Pretzer has been great with my kids and his recommendations have always ended up being absolutely accurate. I have also found him to be a real advocate for my kids. Really thoughtful about what is best for each child.

My special needs son had to be seen for an emergency visit. I was prepared to be fit in and wait a while but Dr. Pretzel and the entire team of people were amazing for us!

Love love love this practice. Both my boys ENJOY going to the dentist. Excellent dental care and real care and compassion for my kids’ comfort level. Cannot recommend highly enough. All the docs and staff are fantastic.

We love Dr. Pretzel! :-) Very personable, great with kids, and explains/answers questions very well. He always takes the time to do a thorough exam and explain all the treatment options, and recommends the best treatment route based on doing only what is necessary weighing all the possible pros/cons and relevant factors. We trust him and highly recommend!

Everyone in this practice is absolutely amazing. Dr. Pretzer is takes his time, explains everything we need to know for a 4 year old, tells us what to look for in the coming 6 months and keeps our son laughing and giggling through the whole experience. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Pretzer.

Dr. Pretzer is awesome! We have 3 girls and have been seeing Dr. Pretzer for 14 years now, my girls have never been afraid to go to the dentist and actually like going and taking care of their teeth. He is great with kids of all ages and explaining things to parents. We have never had a bad experience and would highly recommend him and the practice.

Dr. Pretzer is absolutely amazing as are the dental assistants. I took my daughter to another dentist for her first visit and it was traumatizing. We were recommended to Dr. Pretzer and the experience was completely different. Everyone was incredibly patient, kind and reassuring. It has completely changed her perspective of going to the dentist. This place is wonderful as is Dr. Pretzer!!!!
