Dr. K.C. Owsley is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He has a particular interest in arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. A native of Escondido, California, Dr. Owsley graduated from San Pasqual High School and went on to receive dual degrees in Philosophy and Zoology from Brigham Young University. He received his Medical Doctorate with honors from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and remained in New York for his residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Upon graduating from residency, Dr. Owsley completed a sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While there, he worked as part of the medical staff for the L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Angels, L.A. Galaxy, L.A. Sparks Anaheim Ducks, USC Football and many high school, college and amateur athletes. He is a candidate member of the American Academy Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (ANNA). Dr. Owsley lives in San Diego with his wife and is a proud father of two boys and two girls. He enjoys skiing, surfing, cycling and spending time outdoors with his family.

Dr. Thomas Knutson is a board-certified physician specializing in the treatment of knee, shoulder and hip injuries. He attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he completed his Medical Degree and Residency in Orthopedics. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Knutson went on to complete a fellowship in Major Joint Reconstruction at the University of California San Diego. Over his 30 years of experience practicing medicine, Dr. Knutson has helped countless patients heal musculoskeletal injuries. He finds great satisfaction in stabilizing broken bones and restoring worn-out joints allowing his patients to get back to their normal activities. Dr. Knutson grew up in Columbus, Wisconsin and moved to California to complete his medical education. He enjoys being a part of the San Diego community and in his spare time takes advantage of the California sun by participating in scuba diving and water sports. Some of Dr. Knutson's other hobbies include traveling, snow skiing, hiking, maintaining his salt-water aquarium and spending time with his lovely wife, three sons and six grandchildren.
