She attended medical school at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate in Brooklyn and graduated magna cum laude in 2003. Dr. Stoler was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as a junior medical student, which allowed her to serve as treasurer of the society. While at SUNY Downstate, Dr. Stoler also did basic science research on keratinocytes (skin cells) and the production of nitric oxide. Dr. Stoler completed her Dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital, Illinois, in 2007. At Cook County she cared for a diverse patient population, saw a wide range of diseases, and had an extensive hands-on experience. She has been an active member of the Chicago Dermatology Society, presenting on laser therapy, vasculitis, and other case reports. Dr. Stephen C. Ho grew up in the Orlando, Florida area. He received his undergraduate degree in 1992 with a B.S. in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating summa cum laude. He attended medical school at the University of Chicago, graduating in 1996. Dr. Ho completed his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000 after having the honor to serve as Chief Resident during his last year of training.Dr. Ho is a board-certified Dermatologist who joined AboutSkin after practicing in Boulder County for over 12 years. He decided to move to Denver to be closer to his home following the arrival of his son in June 2012.Dr. Ho is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Skin Cancer Foundation.
