After fellowship, he joined the clinical faculty at the University of Virginia, while completing an additional Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship to learn the latest, state-of-the-art endoscopy techniques. She has been serving as Associate Professor at Michigan State University where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine & Bachelor of Human Sciences degrees. She completed her Internal Medicine residency & Gastroenterology fellowship at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Michigan.

Dr. Andrew S. Korson is a board certified gastroenterologist bringing vast experience and fluency in the Spanish language to the RMG Lakewood clinic and Lakewood Endoscopy. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass. as well as a clinical fellowship in medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Korson has advanced training in interventional endoscopy as well as pancreatic and biliary endoscopy. Throughout his career, he has obtained prestigious honors, including election into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, a recipient of the Harvard Medical School Excellence in Tutoring Award and was awarded with the University of Colorado Travel Grant among many other honors. Dr. Mackenzie attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Mackenzie has won many awards including the Virginia Schuman Scholarship from the University of ?Colorado School of Medicine and the Howard Hughes Research Grant and President?s Scholarship from Colorado State University. Dr. Mackenzie has authored numerous publications, including research papers in Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Dr. Mackenzie is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the Colorado Medical Society.
