As a pediatric orthopedist, my patient is the child, and my customer is the parent. It's important to me when the patient is old enough, to carry on my conversations with my patient directly, to engage them in their own health and well-being. We believe in the philosophy of family-centered care. We work closely with families to develop individualized and customized treatment plans and answer questions. I also work closely with my patient's pediatrician to ensure seamless treatment and healing of the incident, accident or condition that brought the patient to my door.

As physician and patient, we work together to accomplish a desired goal. My role is to provide accurate information about the condition or diagnosis including treatment options that may or may not involve surgical intervention. The patient's role is to own their success by committing to a course of treatment and giving it their all to achieve rehabilitation of their limb. Together, we are a team with one goal in mind, and that is returning my patient to the way of life that was interrupted by accident, incident or condition.
