I enjoy all aspects of my career as a general OB-GYN, from contraception and obstetrical care to gynecologic issues such as irregular or heavy periods and menopause needs. Because the interactions OB-GYN doctors have with women are deeply personal, I place an emphasis on partnering with my patients to provide the best care possible throughout all the stages of a woman's life. When surgery is necessary, I offer minimally invasive options and several operations that can be done in the office setting to decrease discomfort, downtime and expense for a patient.

I decided to become an obstetrician-gynecologist because I like the multifaceted aspect of the specialty. Being an ob-gyn has given me the opportunity to provide preventive care for women, perform surgery and deliver babies. I enjoy working with my patients who are generally very motivated to participate in their own care. My special interests include treating abnormal bleeding and fibroids. I specialize in da Vinci robotic surgery and other minimally invasive treatments and work closely with my patients to help them understand their options. Outside of my practice, I enjoy travel and usually travel outside the country several times a year. I also enjoy skiing and bike riding. I am a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

I was first drawn to obstetrics and gynecology because I enjoy the diversity in medical and surgical issues. In addition to the ever-evolving technology of gynecologic surgery and minimally invasive procedures, I enjoy offering my patients office procedures, contraceptive options and high-risk obstetrics care, as well as routine prenatal, preventive and well-women care. The most important part of my practice is having the great privilege of being a part of women's lives during some of the most significant decisions and moments they will experience.
