I am privileged to care for patients of all ages, from young children to older adults. I aim to partner with my patients to live a healthy lifestyle that promotes wellness and disease prevention. I enjoy getting to know patients as a whole person while truly listening and hearing their concerns. My philosophy of patient-centered care is furthered by improving convenience and increasing affordability. Special areas of interest include women's health, preventive medicine, dermatology services and mental well-being. I also enjoy treating minor illnesses and injuries. I grew up in rural southwest Minnesota in a town with only 406 residents. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and living an active lifestyle. I enjoy running, DIY projects, reading, gardening and going to the lake with my husband, two young sons and two dogs. I love being a mom and watching my children grow.

I am a family practice nurse practitioner currently practicing in the Shakopee area. I love working with patients of all ages and have been privileged to provide care to multigenerational families. I enjoy the variety of family practice, but I'm particularly passionate about mental health, women's health and chronic disease management. I believe in partnering with my patients to create a plan of care that fits with their beliefs and lifestyle.

I enjoy working in family medicine for the diversity it brings: seeing people young and old, caring for acute and chronic illnesses, and counseling on preventive medicine recommendations. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, running and playing volleyball.

I enjoy family medicine because it allows me the opportunity to care for people during all stages of life. I have special interests in sports medicine, dermatology and health care maintenance. My hope is that patients feel their concerns are important to me and that we work together toward the same goal: better health.
