I enjoy providing nurse-midwifery care that encourages women's health and wellness. Working at HealthPartners gives me the opportunity to provide care to women of varying backgrounds. As a member of the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB), I am a firm believer in a holistic approach to safe delivery of women's health care. I practice full-scope midwifery which includes antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care of the mother and family. I also specialize in well-woman care including birth control management and annual exams. As a midwife, I believe in supporting each woman as a whole in every aspect of her life. My mantra when laboring with a woman is to allow nature to take its course and intervene only when necessary. My four children constantly remind me of why I chose midwifery.
