He obtained his undergraduate degree at Colgate University and pursued his medical education at The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He was trained in general, child and adolescent psychiatry at Maine Medical Center where he completed his residency and fellowship between 2009 and 2014. While all visits are intended to be therapeutic, and psychotherapy is occasionally added to his follow up visits,_x000D_ _x000D_ Dr. Kaplan™s practice focuses on pharmacological management and he will be happy to provide referrals for psychotherapy if appropriate.
