Leah Waller is a board certified PA, who moved to Washington, D.C. to complete her undergrad and PA studies at Howard University, where she graduated with honors. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College, NYC, NY. Leah enjoys all aspects of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her special interests include eczema, psoriasis, acne, pigmentary disorders, hair loss, and other conditions affecting skin of color. She likes to focus her attention on a comprehensive approach to skincare, including patient education and tailored treatment plans to maximize outcomes for patients. Leah spends time trying new restaurants, traveling, weightlifting, and tending her indoor garden.

I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine diploma from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2012. In 2014 I completed the Pediatric Dental Residency program at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and received a Certificate of Residency in Pediatric Dentistry along with a Master of Science degree in Dentistry. Upon completion of schooling and residency in Philadelphia & Richmond I opened All Kids Pediatric Dentistry in Charlotte to help every child possible receive the best oral health education and treatment possible. I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Academy, the North Carolina Dental Society, the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentists and as well as a board candidate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. My research has been published on the subject of chemotherapy effects on tooth enamel for which I am a recipient of the 2014 3M ESPE Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children research fellowship grant. I truly believe a pediatric dentist can positively affect a child's life by introducing good oral hygiene at an early age, along with preventing tooth decay which can be difficult to address later in life. Children thrive when they have a great oral health foundation. Prior to attending dental school I lived in Charlotte; working as a hygienist in a pediatric dental office. That is where I learned there is so much joy in helping kids. I also fell in love with the city - so much so that I named my daughter Charlotte! I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, along with extended family. I also enjoy diverse food, travel, culture and I'm always happy to share experiences from my early life in Peru - so if you ever want tips on travel there, just ask!

A native of North Carolina, I received my Bachelor of Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I went on to complete my dental training at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee and am excited to be back home in North Carolina practicing dentistry. I am an active member of American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. When I am not taking care of my patient's, enjoy reading, watching a good documentary, and painting. My favorite things to do are to travel and explore new places through culture and food. I consider myself a true foodie and love exploring Charlotte through all the restaurants and good eats the city has to offer, especially the pizza places. Nothing beats a good slice of pizza!
