He is a graduate of UCLA School of Medicine, completed his cardiology fellowship training at the University of Vermont and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Callister is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Callister is an internationally recognized leader in the field of CT, having been trained well beyond the ACC requirements for all levels.

Dr. Donald Russo co-founded Tennessee Heart & Vascular in 1984 and is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart disease. He treats a wide range of conditions, including, but not limited to, cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, lipid disorders, hypertension and pulmonary hypertension.Dr. Russo is a graduate of the State University of New York School of Medicine, completed internship and residency at the University of Southern California, completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Vermont Medical Center and post fellowship training at the Montreal Heart Institute. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Imaging and the Society of Atherosclerosis Imaging and speaks fluent French.Dr. Russo is licensed in both TN and KY and is now accepting new patients.
