After completing his internship and residency at Johannesburg Hospital, he served as research fellow at the University of Oxford & Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, England. Dr. Haitas also served as a Registrar in Internal Medicine and Cardiologist at Johannesburg Hospital and the Head of the Department of Cardiology at JG Sitijdom Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. After that, he moved to Nashville, TN, and completed a fellowship in Cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Interim Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

He earned a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University. He completed fellowship training in both cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. During his cardiovascular medicine fellowship, Dr. Goodman served as chief fellow.Dr. Goodman has coauthored a number of articles addressing vascular heart disease and the treatment of aortic stenosis. In 2015, he was selected as a finalist for the Samuel Levine AHA Young Investigator award for his research in aortic stenosis.

Dr. Samuel Horr graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Rochester with a dual degree in biology and psychology. He attended The University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree in 2010 earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Horr went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Duke University in Durham, NC. He completed both a cardiovascular medicine fellowship and a two-year interventional cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. During his fellowship, he focused on treating patients with coronary artery disease and complex valvular disease, including aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, and tricuspid regurgitation. Dr. Horr is director of cardiovascular research at Centennial Medical Center and leads the pulmonary embolism response team.

Brian Butera, MD is a Cardiovascular Disease board-certified and Interventional Cardiology fellowship trained specialist practicing at Tennessee Heart & Vascular - Hendersonville. He is affiliated with Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center, Sumner Regional Medical Center and Tristar Northcrest Medical Center located in Tennessee.Dr. Butera entered medicine because of his father, who practiced as an Emergency Medicine Physician for over 30 years. Dr. Butera trained in cardiology and interventional cardiology because of the extent of research that supports clinical decision making and because of the fast pace at which the field is evolving. He enjoys forming long term relationships with patients and their families and creating treatment plans specifically tailored to a patient's wishes. He has additional training and a strong interest in mechanical circulatory support and complex coronary and peripheral procedures.Dr. Butera earned his medical degree from the Rush University Medical College in Chicago, Illinois and completed his residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. After residency, Dr. Butera completed fellowships in Cardiology and then Interventional Cardiology at Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan.
