He then graduated with Honors from Texas A&M Medical School and went on to complete his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Ewing was named outstanding resident teacher by Texas A&M Medicine. He recently returned to Corpus Christi to serve the community, specializing in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Michael J. Reyes was born & raised in McAllen, TX and graduated high school in Brownsville, TX. During college he became a licensed paramedic while attending two universities concurrently. In 2004 he eventually graduated with Bachelors of Science degrees from the University of Texas San Antonio Honors College and the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. In 2009 he graduated with a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. In 2015 Dr. Reyes completed his General Surgery residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI.
