Dr. Suris earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and served as Chief Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical Center Hospital. He has a special interest in urogynecology, the discipline dedicated to helping women overcome loss of bladder control.Dr. Suris is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Bexar County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Suris is married and has three children.

Dr. Kathryn Holloway was raised in San Antonio and is delighted to be taking care of women in her hometown. She received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Neuroscience at Wellesley College, Boston, Massachusetts, then returned to Texas for her medical training. Dr. Holloway received her M.D. with Distinction in Research from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.Dr. Holloway completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. During her training, she developed an interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and completed research on the evaluation and teaching of OB/GYN residents' robotic surgical skills. Her research received an Honorable Mention award by the American Medical Association. During residency, she was also honored with the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.Dr. Holloway chose a career in general Obstetrics and Gynecology because she enjoys caring for women of all ages. She is passionate about helping women live healthy lifestyles during and between pregnancies. As the daughter of a family of physicians, Dr. Holloway understands the commitment to the physician-patient relationship. She lives with her husband, who is also a physician, and their two children. Evangeline K. Ramos-Gonzales is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales received her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University before receiving her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed her residency training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of The Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales is married and has three children.

Our physicians are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of female disorders. We are equipped to perform anything from annual well women exams, including family planning to hormone management, to diagnostic procedures, minimally invasive surgery and other advanced procedures, which may be indicated. Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds, or sonograms, are conveniently performed in our Medical Center office by one of our experienced, registered sonographers. Your physician reviews all images and the information gained assists them in planning your prenatal or gynecologic care.

James E. Mark, MD is a gynecologic surgical oncologist with the START Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland; a residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas; and clinical and research fellowships in gynecologic oncology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.Dr. Mark served as chief of gynecologic oncology and medical director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Mark retired from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel.
