Olivia Darwin, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant with LewisGale Physicians-Gastroenterology in Salem, Virginia. Mrs. Darwin earned her master of science in physician assistant studies, graduating with highest honors from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also holds a bachelor of science in kinesiology from Mississippi State University. Mrs. Darwin is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). In addition, she is trained in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS). Mrs. Darwin has extensive clinical training in general medicine, and in diagnosing and recommending treatment options for both acute and chronic conditions. When not treating patients, Mrs. Darwin volunteers her time with local organizations and has participated in a medical mission trip to Nicaragua. She is pleased to be part of the LewisGale Physicians-Gastroenterology team and welcomes new patients and referrals.
