I had a spinal fusion by Dr Field. Most people would be concerned about this surgery as was I. Dr Field explained the procedure and made me confident it would go well. He was the third back surgeon I had seen and the only one who gave me the information about the surgery and other options. I chose surgery because I had so much confidence in him and I knew this was the only long term cure for my back. His staff is also excellent. All in all, I this process has been very successful and I am getting my life back. I highly recommend Dr. Field.

I was experiencing symptoms of numbness, headaches & was having difficulty walking. Met with Dr. Yeung to review my MRI's & CT. Turns out, that I had severe cervical spinal stenosis, which Dr. Yeung explained only had a surgical remedy (double cervical fusions). Surgery was performed on 4/5/22. Everything went very well. The hospital staff was wonderful & attentive. Just a few hours after the procedure I was up & walking the hallways without any assistance. Amazingly, I have had no pain...ZERO!! I haven't taken a single pain pill! It's been three weeks and the symptoms are for the most part gone. Started driving again yesterday after my 3-week checkup. I cannot more highly recommend DISC & specifically Dr. Yeung. The entire staff is professional, caring & compassionate

I saw Dr. Abrams and he took one brief look at my MRI's and told me I needed extensive surgery and handed me paperwork to get the ball rolling! Nothing like being ramrodded into surgery without the benefit of going over my situation, the extent of the procedure or the recovery. I was provided very little information! I hadn't even agreed to the procedure with him and it was just a 1st opinion. In addition, their billing office screwed up my claim submittal to my insurance provider and denied any wrongdoing when they weren't getting paid, but yet kept harassing me to pay the entire bill. After many hours on the phone to both my insurance and their office, I got nowhere because they refuse to admit any wrongdoing, even though my insurance mailed them documents to correct the billing errors. They denied ever receiving anything from them. If you don't want to be stuck for a large bill just for a consulting visit, then don't go here. They want your money any way they can get it!

Dr Christopher Yeung & his staff listened as I explained my pain issues and together we discussed options & expected outcomes. I decided on a minimally invasive back fusion surgery that was designed to address my immediate problems. Surgery went way better than expected due to NO PAIN like before surgery! Dr provided in home physical therapy visits that moved me comfortably through that first two weeks prior to initial follow up. Third week after surgery, gradually increased walking distance inside. At just over 6 weeks, am walking outside, still using walker and continuing to wear back brace when more active, I am gradually returning to pre-pain activity! My family and friends cannot believe my progress! I am so very grateful to Dr & his staff for their expertise and concern for my continuing recovery.

My surgery was 100% successful and I thank Dr Fields for that. Everything else was fine except no one in the office including the doctor were wearing masks. My husband and I were the only ones with masks. I was surprised at that since every other medical facility I have dealt with requires masks, temperature checks and social distancing.
