Biography: Dr. Sureka grew up in central Illinois and received his medical degree and master's degree in public health from Northwestern University. He completed his pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital where he also spent time as a transport physician. Dr. Sureka completed his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University, where his research focused on preventative cardiology as well as the cardiac effects of chemotherapy. He is also trained in fetal echocardiography. He sees patients with all types of pediatric cardiology concerns. He is also proficient in Spanish. He lives with his wife, his daughter and son in Dallas.

Biography: Dr. Payne has lived in the North Texas area for 25 years since coming to Dallas for medical school. She received her medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her pediatric residency at Children's Medical Center Dallas and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and an extra year as chief resident in pediatrics. She went on to complete a pediatric cardiology fellowship at UT Southwestern, where her interests included cardiac genetics and preventative cardiology. At UT Southwestern she investigated genetic mechanisms of congenital heart disease and researched genetic contributions to hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Her clinical interests include general pediatric cardiology, preventative cardiology, cardiac genetics, and advocating for great health for the children of north Texas.
