Dr. Abigail Collins, MD

We spend a significant time with physicians & I’ve also worked with physicians at a VP level for many years. Our experience with Dr. Collins spanning nearly a year was horrific! She is one of the least professional physicians I’ve ever dealt with. We now leave the state just to see a decent pediatric movement specialist.

Our son has seen several ped neurologist in a effort to diagnosis developmental delay and follow-up care to blood clots in his brain. By the time we were seen by Dr. Collins, she listened to our concerns, in feeling we're searching for needle in a haystack, narrowed into seek-out a diagnosis which could be treated. She worked quickly to get blood draws ordered to coincide with another appointment at Children's the following day. She also was responsive to email through the patient portal. .

Our daughter was in KS when she needed medical attention from a cardiac arrest. The doctor here sent Dr. Collins a picture of her heart rhythms and knew EXACTLY what was wrong and asked to get here to Colorado. She understands children, she understand teen age girls, she understand scared parents! She put our daughters defibrillator under her armpit so that in a bathing suit, tank top or wedding dress it will not show! DR COLLINS THINKS OF SUCH LONG TERM IMPORTANT TO A TEENAGER THINGS!!!
