Pain Clinic that does not treat chronic pain
Saw the Nurse Practitioner (Amanda), asked how my pain block went. I explained that was hurting worse after procedure. (the day after for a week). She said she was sorry and that there was nothing they could do. How is it a pain management clinic can not treat pain? I am baffled. Being a nurse myself! Was nice enough, but that doesn't help me. Dr. Green was very nice, explained that the pain block should work, but like I said, felt worse. The new added on pain was right behind my pancreas.

I was referred to Dr. Green several years ago for a spinal injection by my neurosurgeon. We had a long discussion regarding an inherited blood clotting disorder I have. He pointed out that I could possibly develop a hematoma which could cripple me and said he did not want to do it. When I remembered that my brother was crippled from the very same thing, I was extremely grateful for Dr. Green’s honesty. He saved me from what could have been an unwelcome future.

Absolutely appalling
There needs to be a zero star option. Dr. Green has absolutely zero empathy or compassion. He argued with me over my diagnosis, which has been confirmed through extensive imaging by a neurosurgeon, two orthopedic surgeons, and a specialized upper cervical chiropractor — four different doctors. I’ve been all the way to Johns Hopkins (three times), and Dr. Green had the audacity to question Johns Hopkins! I’ve been living with severe chronic pain for over 6 years, and am on the verge of being bed-ridden and disabled. Some days I can’t even be upright for more than a few minutes, due to the extreme pain I experience, from all the pressure / compression my brain stem is being subjected to. Currently in treatment doing stem cell / platelet rich plasma therapy, but if these fail, I will have to get cervical fusion neck surgery. In the meantime, my neurosurgeon suggested that Dr. Green prescribe something I could take on an as needed basis — just on the days where the pain threshold is too mu

Waste of money and time.
My son has severe headaches caused by Craniocervical Instability, and wanted a prescription for something to take on days the headaches are so intense. He wants to keep working and avoid disability. The Dr. was dismissive and didn't even look at the imaging we were told to bring with us (MRI, DMX). He suggested psychotherapy (my son is already in therapy to manage having a chronic debilitating health issue at age 34). Don't waste your time unless you want to be told to apply lidocaine or go to counseling.

I saw Dr Green yesterday for the 2nd time when I went in for a consultation regarding my options for treatment of pain while walking in my extremely hyperextended knee. My first visit I fell in love with him. He is without a doubt the most caring compassionate Dr. I have ever been to. He listens well, asks the right questions and allows you to ask questions and allows time to answer any question you might have. He allows you to be a part of decisions that are made as far as treatment.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with both Dr. Green and his nurse Lori. Ive never been treated the way I was today by any other medical staff. I was treated as if I were there for no reason even though I got hit by a truck on July 6th, have 10 broken ribs, 3 broken vertabrae, and a cracked tibia. They talk to you as if you are scum. Will never be going back.

I love Dr. Green and his staff. He’s kind of quiet at first but if you ask questions or just want to talk about your procedure, he’s willing to take the time to answer! He’s been very helpful and I would definitely recommend him and his staff. His PA is the only PA I’ve ever been happy with!! Will continue to see him until he tells me he can no longer help me!

Wow, I have such a great pain management doc, but he is starting to talk about retirement, so I am unfortunately on the hunt.....I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your candor in your posts and letting me know not to even try with this one. Pain management is serious, and is you are on your medication for 9 years, and then a doc doesn't listen...I guess he doesn't know you can actually go through life threatening stuff when your meds go away, and pain is real, and debilitating.

Dr.Green has kept me on my feet going on 3 years instead of getting surgery. He is probably the best doctor I have ever had. He is smart and not too much on small talk. He has always listened when I talked to him and explained his procedures in advance. I would rather have a doctor that can stop the pain and keep me working VS. A doctor that is chatty or pushing pills. He is a fine doctor.

Lacks bed side manor. Won't say hello when he enters your room. Made me feel like I was faking my pain. Told me there was nothing wrong with me that it was all in my head even though I have been with a pain management doctor for over six years where I moved from. For a doctor he was supposed to help you manage your pain he lacks sympathy and empathy I will not be going back to him.

Terrible experience. First I had to wait an hour &1/2 past my appointment time. Then he ran through my appointment Like a speedy Lube Tech. Didn't listen to anything I said. Didn't take any time to explain anything to me, Just rambled on about what he wanted to do. It will cost more money to start with a new Dr. But it will be worth it. I will not go back.

1st visit was horrible, very irogant. He didn't want to hear what I had to say about what works for me.He ended up prescribing me a joke of a medicine.I called to let them know I really didn't want to take these meds due to the side affects, and the rude nurse said that was he wants me on and he wasnt going to try anything else!So I'm on to the next doctor which is so frustrating when you have disease that causes pain.Dont go to this doctor!

I saw Dr. Green last year and it was the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. He was rude and my husband and I got the instinct impression that he was fresh out of boot camp. He was interrogating and seemed to have no empathy. I now see a new pain management doctor who is much more caring and seems to really listen. I advise you not to go to this clinic.

I was uneasy w/my upcoming appt w/Green after seeing some pretty negative reviews & I actually almost cancelled my appt altogether, but I'm glad I didn't. He's the 1st Dr that didn't try to push medications down my throat. He's the 1st Dr that actually read thru & discusssed w/me that entire packet of medical information that u have to fill out for your 1st time appt. He was absolutely wonderful, never rushed, & he really listened to me.
