Dr. Adam Kaufman, MD

I just had a new lenses put in my right eye my vision is now 20 / 15 Dr Kauffman is second to none.

When I say he's an awesome Dr., he is. He takes very good care of me. Always available if I come across a problem. If I need an appointment right away, I get right in.

Dr. Kaufman is excellent. He was able to give me my sight back. His caring and patient demenier gave me the confidence in him to go through the surgeries on my eyes. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Kaufman is always cordial and listens and explains what he is doing and why . He is well respected through the medical community . I know a number of physicians whom he treats including myself . He is the doctor other doctors seek out for themselves and their family .

After researching physicians to care for my cataracts, Dr. Kaufman was my choice. Very pleased with results. Many patients in the waiting room appear to have multiple medical needs which may contribute to a longer wait time after seen for the initial eye measurements but well worth the wait. All staff and assistants knowledgeable and approachable for questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kaufman and his wife are both very professional and personable when it comes to your care. I have had a great experience thus far and expect this to continue as I have troublesome eyes and will see him often. Be prepared to possibly wait a while to see him. Good doctors are always worth the wait. Bring a book or a phone charger. His expertise is worth every minute that you wait. His wife, who works with him in the office, welcomes patients like family and if you have a problem or question they will get back to you very quickly, even when they are out of town. Sometimes it’s tough to find a good, decent doctor. All the doctors at CEI who have treated my family have been great. Dr Kaufman far exceeds every expectation I look for in a doctor. I’m grateful to be under his care.

People leave reviews all the time... But I would like to share my experience with Dr. Kaufman. My grandson is 8 years with ADHD ... very active young man. July 5th 2020 my grandson was in a terrible situation, were he burned his eye, total destruction of his eye.... Dr Kaufman has performed miracles in the last eight months. Dr. Kaufman needs more than a review for his knowledge and skills and patience, he is working harder than any doctor I have ever known to save my grandsons eye ... Dr. Kaufman is up to date on technology and today’s state of the art eye repair... Dr Kaufman is honest with us with the progress we are making and makes sure each visit that we totally understand what’s going on and the treatment... my grandson adores him and all the staff @ Cincinnati Eye Institute... For my family Dr. Kaufman and his staff have gone 10 folds past the call of duty. I would recommend Dr.Kaufman and I have to anyone who has complicated eye issues, because he is truly the best.

Dr. Kaufman and the optometrists and technicians who work with him are world class, fantastic! However, I waited 4 hours (!) after the scheduled time for my appointment. I understand that "sick visits" are difficult to accommodate in a medical office but this was an egregious example of poor, really unsustainable office management. Something needs to change or I will find another ophthalmologist

Dr. Kaufman is one of the best doctors I have ever received care from. He is an expert in his field. I would recommend him highly to anyone. You can tell his entire staff admires and respects him. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Adam Kaufman is highly knowledgeable in his field of eye diseases. I have been seeing Dr. Kaufman for 25 years because he is the only one that I trust with my eye health. He is not only medically competent but he demonstrates a bedside manner of the highest grade.
