Dr. Adedayo Ashana, MD

I have been see Dr Ashana for several years for spinal issues. We went through the normal diagnostics to determine what worked best for me. Unfortunately, it required surgery, but FORTUNATELY I had Dr Ashana there to perform the surgery. It was a very complex surgery that Dr Ashana performs and was done over a three day period by he and his very well trained staff. Dr Ashana is a perfectionist and gave me confidence going into this surgery. It obviously was a long healing period, but after 6 months. I was pain free from an ailment that I had suffered for many years. Dr Ashana is professional, confident, knowledgeable and kind. I have another surgery with him scheduled in the very near future. I am 100% confident in knowing that he will be doing this.

If I could give him a 0 I would. He refused to listen to my complaint of sudden onset of excruciating back pain. My husband and I urged him to look deeper than just an x-ray judging by my severe pain and other symptoms. We were brushed off at my office visit and many calls to his office. Finally after I became septic I was diagnosed, not by him, with a spinal abscess and almost died! All he had to do was ask the right questions and listen to the patient! I will never step foot into OSS again!

Dr Ashana is one in a million. He cares about his patients, listens and his surgical technique is top notch. I had a two level lumbar fusion and I’m pain free, no meds and back to an active life thanks to Dr Ashana.

He did not explain the x-rays, and I feel he did not listen and rushed not understanding exactly where the pain was.

Dr. Ashana was caring, friendly and throughly professional. My surgery was a success. OSS is a wonderful organization.

I was very pleased with his manner of care and explanation of surgery was very clear and I understood the procedure.

All of the x-rays that were taken were explained in great detail to me and my daughter. I knew exactly what was going to be taking place during my surgery. I would recommend him to all my friends and family members.

I had neck fusion surgery at the end of last October and was admitted overnight at OSS. It was a first class operation. The staff was informative, friendly and attentive.Three weeks later I had no pain. Dr Ashana was very knowledgeable and skillful and I am very happy with the result. I highly recommend Dr. Ashana.
