Dr. Afshan Hameeduddin, MD

Dr. H had provided excellent care to me throughout diagnosis and treatment of a serious blood infection. I had discovered that I was diabetic.After several months of medication and rehab I have learned that Dr. H truly cares about her patients.Thank you, Dr. H!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hameeduddin for many years I have always referred her to my friends and family for healthcare. she is very knowledgeable and compassionate about helping her patients. Her staff is phenomenal, there is a lab person there that is amazing she gets me every time in one poke and it doesn't hurt at all I will not go anywhere else to have my blood taken. Overall I recommend this practice to everyone.

Dr Hameeduddin has been the provider for my parents for many years. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure they are receiving compassionate care, all tests and medications (and adjustments) they need, when they need them. She has always made us feel welcome and comfortable. We have also had the pleasure of seeing her Physician Assistant, who, is also very kind. The staff has always helped us with scheduling any appointments and getting referrals or follow up that my parents will need. I’m not sure why anyone would feel differently because I personally know some patients who are seen here are long time patients who love Dr H. I have friends and other family members who have been with this practice for years. We appreciate the amazing care that you provide!

Horrible. She is loud and insulting. VERY RUDE! I brought a family member for an appointment. Dr Hameeduddin did not listen so she was not able to address the reason we were there. She kept interrupting very loudly, no privacy for anyone. Continued talking outside the exam room. The most unprofessional physician I have ever encountered. Nothing accomplished.

I've been a patient with her for over 35 years, and every time I visit her I feel a lot better. She treat your body and spirit. I wish all doctors are like her. Thank you Dr.Afshan

My experience has been terrible with them. I went for an annual wellness visit to her at the Schaumburg clinic. They took the blood and asked me to come next week for pap smear, instead of getting it done the same day, so that they could bill twice for the same service. They also did not explain the lab results. They charged me upfront for the copay on both the visits even though preventive care does not require you to pay copay. They then sent the billing statement for one of the visits to me and the claim for another visit to my insurance provider. I tried to reach them several times and left many voicemails asking why I was being billed. They still have not responded back.

Its always great i love her, i met her since 2013 i moved into Hoffman Estates she was located across from Morrettis Pizza then they moved down the street on same street Higgins. Dr is very alternative, I moved to Fox Lake and i use to drive almost an hour. I would drive from there just to see her. I now drive frm the City of Chicago. She is very special to me. I was diagn Pre-diabetes, a few yrs ago, i have not been to the Dr in a year, When i tested i scored very high on my A1C she called me in and yelled at me explained the importance of being diabetes, we went over things she changed my meds i returned bk for a f-up a few wks later my log was progressing i got on a diet and started to exercise i am now where i am suppose to be. Thanks to her she motivated me. Her staff is also a great team very alternative and caring. The new office looks awesome! Great job!!Thank you

She was my mom's doctor. I don't have a problem with her but her billing team. They keep billing an invoice when she was in the hospital that has been paid on July 2019 and the bank cleared it. Sent the paperworks certified (copies of checks and invoices paid), talked to personnel that would checked on it. Now March 2020 we are getting a collection notice about the same issue. She needs to get better personnel that can be trusted and would resolve issues. Not so worth going to a doctor that would aggravate you with billing issues months later

Every time we go there the wait is 1.5-2 hours yet the many people behind the counter do not look busy, in fact, I’ve seen one of them playing on their phones looking at Facebook. Then when you call they sound incredibly “busy”. I’ve taken my mom to see her for many visits and it is the same every time. Most of these bad reviews here and other sites are the staff’s terrible phone etiquette. Saying to call back but never do. The worst was yesterday. Dec 26. Obviously it is right after Christmas so we talked TWICE to confirm. to repeat, WE call to CONFIRM not them.. twice and twice they said we are good to go. We get there the office is closed. We called and it directed us to the Schaumburg location (we are in Hoffman est). The lady said they tried reaching us in the morning and left a message. SUCH LIARS. Own up to it!

Quick to prescribe medication. Went there once, told her my symtoms and prescribed two medications. She's quick to put you on meds

I am so relieved and grateful to De. Hameeduddin and her team who have given me the greatest since of relief since diagnosing the root cause of a range of symptoms that I suffered with for over 10 years. Now we have an intervention plan with evidences of improvement.

THe best dr in that office. I was very very sick and my family were treated in excellent Care with Dr H. Thanks

My son was sober for 11 months and he was having an anxiety/panic attack. He was so desperate he was seeking suboxone and Xanax (which was his drug of choice). He went to Dr. A. Hameeduddin and within the first visit (which last 10 minutes) she prescribed him these two drugs. she did not know his medical history and he was on vivitrol at the time and she didn't even know that. She gave a 28 year old a 30 day supply of Xanax and a 30 day supply of suboxone. Basically she is a legal drug dealer.

Bedside manner is terrible! Does not listen to patients needs! Changes medications while in the hospital without notifying you. Is in a hurry to go to next patient! Would not recommend

One thing dr you do an excellent job with all of your patients. Your staff are awesome. They take care of me very well.
