My daughter has used Dr. Lugo for the last three years, and we have been very pleased with her treatment. Her nurse is so sweet and takes time whether in person or on the phone to find out how everything is going. Dr. Lugo is very thorough and takes her time examining and explaining bloodwork every time. My daughter sees her every 3 months unless her numbers go up and the. It is every six weeks. Dr. Lugo has called us at home to check up on my daughter and still talks about the first time she saw my daughter and how much she has improved since then. She is a very caring and thoughtful doctor..

I have been seeing Dr Lugo for over 3 yrs. She requires a 3 mo follow up visit every time. Blood work every 3 mos, including xrays if needed. I've never had a visit shorter than hour. She listens and explains in detail. Refers to other specialties if needed. If your not getting the care you think you should have had, then it is possible her style of medicine is not for you. That doesn't make you a difficult patient or her incompetent. I dont always like my results but so far shes been right.

Can’t understand a word she says. She mumbles. She diagnosed you before test results come back. They had my BP listed very high when they never even took my BP. She spends very little time with you. She comes in, mumbles and types in the computer and walks out. She leaves you in the room not knowing what’s going on then the nurse tells you when to come back. She took X-rays and did lab work and told me she would she me in 6 months. So they leave you not knowing test results until next appt

I have been seeing her for about 2 yrs now. I have tried to ask questions about alternative meds and she doesn't know. I have had difficult getting meds refilled, forms filled out, and she rarely does blood work on. She also rarely see me. My next appointment with her is a yr from now.
