Amazing surgeon who truly cares about his patients
I first saw Dr. Cornett back in 2017. I had a bad knee injury and was referred to him. From day one he was compassionate and honest. We waited a little over a year before finally deciding a partial replacement was the best resolution. Surgery was done in an outpatient clinic and went amazingly well. Dr. Cornett and his staff are amazing. Here I am 7 years later and just had to have carpal tunnel surgery and again, he is amazing. Making appointments are easy to make with several different locations, the office staff is amazing and Dr. Cornett is a compassionate, patient oriented physician. I would recommend him to anyone having any orthopedic issues.

Didn't Help
I had surgery on my thumb almost 6 months ago and I have just started having trouble with it hurting and wasn't able to hold a fork this morning. Definitely won't suggest him. Also had trigger finger and it still locks up.

I am 4+ years since my Robotic assisted partial knee replacement. One of my better decisions. Dr. Cornett did an outstanding job and the operation and post op recovery went as he said it would. I consulted with three surgeons prior to Dr. Cornett and all three told me I needed a total knee replacement. Upon viewing my xray, Dr. Cornett immediately identified me as a candidate for a partial rather than the traditional "full' replacement.

Never go to this office. Lack of concern is pervasive and office operates very poorly. A call to the nurse will take 24 to 48 hours for response as the nurse vm states. Obviously short on staff and too busy to really act like they care.

Dr. Cornett is wonderful! My knee surgery couldn’t have gone better. He explained everything, was professional, empathetic, and most of all, made me feel confident in my decision to have the surgery. I wish I’d done it earlier. The aftercare was exceptional and I would recommend Dr. Cornett very highly.

I had come to Dr. Cornett for years to get injections in my shoulders. When I finally decided to have shoulder replacement surgery he was my choice. He explained in detail what the surgery entailed, scheduled the surgery and all went well. Recovery takes time but rehab is going well and I am pleased with the results. I plan on having my other shoulder replaced and feel very comfortable with Dr. Cornett doing the surgery.

Dr. Cornett was very nice, and had great bed side manner. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and treated me the same day. I appreciate that kind of speed, as co-pays can pile up quickly.

Not impressed...on the original visit, he spent about 5 minutes with me, tapped my wrist and said he would do surgery. bottom line, after 4 months and finally a MRI, it was my C6 disc. When I saw him again, he didn't tell me anything about my MRI, gave me 6 more weeks of PT (at my insistance), and referred me to a surgeon. I still don't know anything other than what the MRI technician told/showed me.

Dr. Cornett is an amazing hip specialist/surgeon! He is extremely confident, knows what he's doing, and his bedside manners are phenomenal! He doesn't rush your appointments. Instead, he takes time to explain the procedure, and he makes sure to answer all of your questions. Additionally, he makes you feel like he cares, and I really appreciate that! Matt is great also! He is helpful, kind, and considerate! I highly recommend Dr. Cornett and his staff to anyone who needs a total hip replacement!!

I am a 55 year old male. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis that had eaten away the cartledge in my left hip. I lived with bone on bone contact for 6 months. Absolutely one of the most painful experiences that I have had. I finally relented to my Rheumatologist suggestions and contacted OSI. I made an appointment with Dr Cornett for the next week. From the time I met Matt and Dr. Cornett, I felt at ease. The day of surgery he was very calming and confident.

I'm a 46 year old male that is a cancer survivor. I was referred to Dr Cornett by my primary care physician. My first impression of Dr Cornett was wonderful, very personable and explained how he was going to perform my examination. He discovered that I have avascular necrosis in my right hip and I have to have a full hip replacement. He had my surgery scheduled as soon as possible and explained the procedure in great detail and what I would expect for a recovery time. He is an excellent Dr

I would rate Dr. Cornett at 8 out of 5. He is so amiable, genuinely interested in me as a patient, and desiring to know my interests to be sure that what he would prescribe would match my activities. At 65, I still play competitive basketball. He got me into surgery quickly. This is my 3rd scope for meniscus tears and his was the best work. Wednesday surgery, Drove 600 miles to Texas 1.5 days later with no pain, no swelling. All day Sat at Zoo!
