I had the best experience with Dr. Awan. She is hands down the most patient and understanding doctor I’ve ever met. She took the time to listen to all my concerns, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. It’s rare to find a doctor who is both knowledgeable and genuinely caring. I truly appreciate her kindness and the way she made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend her!

She is a horrible doctor. No knowledge, compassion, care. She is rude, heartless, lazy, and obviously does not like her job or people. She is sarcastic and unprofessional. Stay away from her. She almost killed me.

Dr. Areeba Awan was a breath of fresh air with her positivity and thoroughness. I was not at my best during hospitalization and my husband was also fairly cranky but Dr. Awan was patient, kind and addressed all my concerns.

I was in-patient at BRRH for two broken ones followed with surgery. Having Cystic Fibrosis, a terminal, orphan disease; Dr Awan did not have expertise in caring for someone with CF, which is totally understandable , what was not understandable, was her abrasive bed-side manner and absolute dismissal of anything I questioned or offer to educate on the disease I have lived with and know the intricacies of in terms of certain medicines I can or can't take etc. At least if not wanting to listen to the patient, contact my Cf specialists. While in very bad pain and trying to advocate for myself, I was left with disrespect and a doctor who looked me in the eyes and said, 'I have a medical degree, let me do my job'! Imagine being naked on a bedpan, vulnerable, in pain and sick, and the doctor feels it's her right to bypass the curtain without asking, and says 'what happened' I loudly exclaimed 'please give me some privacy' I was left in tears.
