Dr. Alejandro Barrera, MD

It was a happy visit like always, because even though you arrive nervously they comfort you. The nurses are always welcoming and caring. And Doctor Barrera well he's a sweetheart who always receives me with happiness and a huge smile on his face full of excitement; making me feel right at home and like family.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Barrera to family & friends. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful with all my concerns.

Dr. Barrera was warm and welcoming, he was charismatic and kind and he took his time listening to my symptoms and he gave his undivided attention which I appreciated very much since my former OBGYN was the opposite. I highly recommend Dr. Barrera!

Dr Barrera is awesome! He answers my multitude of questions about my pregnancy. I have had one preterm birth and 2 pregnancy losses. He has really helped me along the way and taken the necessary precautions to ensure my baby and I are doing well. I highly recommend him.

Best doctor ever and great staff!

I transferred to Dr. Barrera when I was experiencing complications from a miscarriage. I was extremely grateful for his thorough and compassionate care during that very difficult time. When we got pregnant several months later, he was supportive of my decision to try for a vaginal birth even though my first was a cesarean. Over the course of our pregnancy, he was up front with concerns about my VBAC (like the size of my baby being potentially too big) but he remained overall optimistic and encouraged me not to worry. My labor progressed quickly but I had to push for a long time. Dr. Barrera was patient and didn’t rush me to another cesarean (my daughter was stable through it all.) For the final 40 minutes of pushing, Dr. Barrera encouraged me with every contraction. By the grace of God, I was able to push her out/Dr. Barrera was able to get her out. (It turns out the cord had been wrapped around my girl two times, which kept pulling her back in.) I am very grateful for his care.

Very long wait but Dr. Barrera was very informative, asked pertinet questions, and was very attentive.

Dr. Barrera is the best OBGYN! He's very helpful, informative, patient and always makes my issues a priority!

Dr. Barrera is a wonderful provider that will give you the best quality of care. He gives you as much time as needed during your appointments and is willing to chat/text with you whenever you have questions or concerns- after hours or really ANY time of the day or night! What more could you ask for?! His bedside manner is also excellent. If you are his patient, he will do everything possible to ensure that he delivers your baby. I would highly recommend Dr. Barrera as an OBGYN or PCP!

Excellent doctor. Always availble and very knowledgeable. Ready to answer any questions and when problems arose with the staff doctor was ready to solve them right away. Waiting time was not controlled by him so I would highly recomend him.
