Dr. Allen Kuo, DO

Dr. Kuo does not appear to be experienced in diagnostics outside of Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. For years I was misdiagnosed and my life turned when I went to a new office with a clinician more experienced in mood disorders. Would not recommend for higher-level diagnostics.

I have known him and worked with him since many years ago when I was suffering from a very toxic work environment--Motorola. He told me I was not alone. He had many patients from the same company. Before that initial visit, I had seen many psychologists and psychiatrists and found them all lacking in one area or another--one in Arizona even waved a "magic wand" whenever she wanted to validate a point. With Dr. Kuo I know I will get an effective treatment. He works at Selah, which in Hebrew means "listen", and does just that. I really admire his professionalism, understanding, and caring.

I have been seeing Dr. Kuo for about three months now. He was able to effectively diagnose my condition and prescribe the proper medication, and WOW. Lifechanging. He is kind, listens, and is very knowledgeable. My favorite part about him, is how hopeful he is for his patients. You can truly tell he cares and wants you to have the best possible outcome for your life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kuo for close to 10 years. I have been diagnosed with bipolar and other diseases and Dr Kuo is the only one who’s been able to stabilize me. I have been to probably 15 different psychiatrists as what a mess! And if you didn’t know, Dr Kuo is a Christian which for me bodes well since I believe in God. Dr Kuo and his staff over the past 10 years has treated me with nothing but respect kindness. THANK YOU DR KUO. MAY GOD BLESS YOU

Excellent practitioner. I have multiple medical issues and he was able to prescribe safe medications to fit my diagnosis. Very knowledgeable about unique medical problems.

Dr Kuo has been my doc for about 16 years. He is the best mental health doctor I have ever been under the care of. He is completely involved with my mental health and is very interactive with treatment that will work for me. I always leave his office feeling positive and supported.

Dr.kuo has changed and saved my life ever since I’ve been in highschool. He is extremely personable, funny, and knowledgeable. He takes time to ask questions to REALLY make sure how I’m feeling is what I say it is, and not him just guessing. I have bipolar and with dr.Kuos help I’m always balanced, and if I ever need a med change, he knows immediately what to prescribe for me to keep me stable. He’s great! 10000/10 recommend.

He is an exceptional psychiatrist! I have probably been seen by over 15 psychiatrists in the last 20 years. HE is by far is the BEST . He cares about each of his patients and doing what's right for them. He doesn't just throw any type of meds at you but takes extensive notes and asks many questions. I highly highly recommend him!
