My late husband was a patient of Allison Travis. His experience was terrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. Please, with any MD you are considering, check their license at the Texas Medical Board. Easy to do online. If they show sanctions, there will be board action documents posted. Read them and then decide if you would trust the doctor with your life. Know that most doctors go trough their entire career with no sanctions.

Emergency gall bladder surgery May 25, 2020 at Texas Presbyterian, Allen. Great results, with quick relief and clear instructions for follow-up. Very personable, and she is a Baylor grad, one of the best!

I give Dr. Allison Travis an A+ on all aspects of my surgery. Dr. Travis visited me at my hospital bedside Friday afternoon, after 2 days of various procedures were unable to resolve an obstruction in my small intestines. She fully explained what the CT was showing, what the options were, the risks, the recovery, everything. When I agreed she said staff would be by to roll me down within the hour, which they were. The surgery was quick and effective. I was up and walking around that evening. I was able to go home Sunday. It could not have been better!

She was very thorough explaining the surgery I was having, she made sure I understood the procedure as well as what to expect in recovery. Very knowledgeable and professional, but still had an amazing bedside manner that put my family at ease. The surgery went as planned and she was great following up. Would absolutely recommend her to friends and family.

I have only experienced th office for a consultation so far and I would recommend Dr. Travis and her staff based off this experience alone thus far. My procedure is scheduled for today and I have complete faith in her so I am at peace with Dr. Travis being the surgeon in charge. CW

Dr. Travis took out my Dad’s appendix. He went home that day and then was in so much pain that night that he passed out. We called EMS and he was re-admitted due to internal bleeding post-op. He was sent home one day later. The next week he had a follow up appt with her and complained that he still was in lots of pain- she dismissed his complaints and he went home. Later we go into another ER and they find a massive abscess from the surgery. He spent another week in the hospital.DO NOT RECOMMEND

I would not hesitate to refer Dr.Travis to all of my family or friends. She has a warm and caring demeanor and is a competent surgeon. My hernia surgery (4) was one of the smoothest procedures that I have had and my recovery was easy. The education provided pre- surgery was thorough and all my questions were answered by Dr. Travis.

Called her due to an abscess on my arm. She got me in the same day. Gave me an antibiotic and scheduled surgery. She has excellent bedside manner. I didn't even wait for my appointment. They gave me paperwork when I arrived. When I sat down to fill it out, they went ahead and took me back because they knew how much pain I was in. I am greatly appreciated!!

Dr.Travis' office has been one of my biggest blessings this year! They were able to get me in quickly(unlike some drs in Dallas to whom I had been referred). I am so impressed with this office staff. Each person, from Dr. Travis, her nurse, PA, and receptionists were amazing! She did my surgery the day after my consultation and I have never felt better. Just had follow up visit and all is well. This office truly treated me like family. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of general surgeon
