Dr. Testa and Angie are wonderful, professional , and extremely knowledgeable. From the first consultation, to the day of surgery, to my post op appointments they answered all of my questions and took excellent care of me . I couldn’t be happier with my results ! I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had gone to several doctors to get different opinions and Dr Testa was by far the most caring and professional doctor. I am so happy and feel blessed I was sent to him. It took me a while to find a doctor that made me feel comfortable and welcome! Dr. Testa and the entire staff are beyond amazing. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist that cares. Dr. Testa was terrific. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care, I walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. Dr Testa is so awesome. I have had my ear reconstructed by him because of skin cancer that I had. I’ve also had a Mini face lift and some other procedures done by him. He is the most caring doctor I have ever been too. Dr Testa, does wonderful work, he is a perfectionist!!! His bedside matter is awesome! I would never go to anybody else but him. Also Angie his assistant is so awesome too! I am so happy and grateful that I found this office! Seriously they are the best!!!Thank you Dr Testa and Angie for everything!

Dr. Testa is very good at what he does. He did my reconstruction surgeries after a double mastectomy for breast cancer. I was not quite ready to move forward with the DMX and he sat with me and explained why we needed to do it and was very kind and compassionate to the point that I walked out feeling very comfortable in moving forward. He has been open to answering any questions and answers them very thoroughly. Angie has been great at answering questions and talking me through both the tissue expander phase and questions in general. Yes they are both very busy but take the appropriate amount of time with you as needed. Also, it says a lot when others in the medical community ask who my reconstruction surgeon is and say, “Oh, good!” when I tell them it’s Dr Testa. It’s important to trust your doctor and I’ve felt nothing but trusting of his decisions and care. I will definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Testa is an amazing surgeon and have great bedside mannera. He was extremely kind and caring throughout it all. He takes the time to explain everything and help you feel comfortable with the whole process. I never left feeling ashamed about my body or like I was a burden for the questions I asked or that I would be talked about behind my back after I left. Dr. Testa and Angie were the absolute best. I will be returning to him in the future.

On recommendation of a friend, I drove 4 hours to meet with this provider. The initial appointment went well, but then the startling lack of honest communication by his office staff has soured me against working with this provider. They told me insurance denied my procedure when I’m fact they’re never submitted it for medical review or approval. I will be seeking care elsewhere

Great Dr and staff. Dr Testa and Angie explain the process and results are great. They make you feel comfortable with the complete process.

DR Testa made my surgery so easy. He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the procedure. His nurse, Angie, is fantastic. She is so responsive to calls and gets back to you as promised. The front desk personnel is welcoming when you arrive for your appointment.

I wouldn't let him touch me with a 10 foot pole. I was unhappy after my visit as I had to interview him, instead of him asking questions. Always anxious to leave, giggle after every comment. Felt very uncomfortable when taking photos as he and nurse exchanged looks. Does he wear those hideous high ugly black cowboy boots to surgery?

Dr Testa is the best. He explained everything to my family and I and always took time to answer questions and made sure we were comfortable with every step along the way. His nurse and staff are so kind

Dr. Testa performed my breast reduction in June. He took the time to answer all of my questions at every visit and the surgery itself was very smooth. Recovery has been super easy and I’m very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Testa.

This Dr RUINED my breasts and a year of my life! I have bilateral breast surgery from Alvaro Testa Jr and he left me with lopsided, asymmetrical, sagging skin! I’ve had 3 plastic surgeons review my case to date all of which confirm that the surgery performed by Alvaro Testa Jr was extremely lacking in ability. I asked the Dr to fix the OBVIOUS mistakes and he was condescending and told me to get my priorities straight. He also told me that he was in capable of doing any better than he did. My Ariola’s are 2 inches different, my left implant hangs an inch and a half lower than the right, I have sagging skin on my right boob. I reached out to the CEO of Advanced Surgical Associates and requested a refund of the $7,000 that I paid and the CEO refused. The lack of skill set and empathy of Dr. Alvaro Testa Junior and Advanced Surgical Associates is absolutely repulsive and this entire company should be put out of business!

Fabulous care from this kind surgeon. A true expert in his field. Would highly recommend!

I could not have been more disappointed with how badly my reduction surgery came out, but worse than that--the way Testa handled it afterwards. I immediately mentioned that there seemed to be too much flesh on the sides and was waved off to tell me that it would round out. During my final appointment when I brought it up again, because my breasts look like airbags are attached to the sides, he decided to tell me it was my fault for being overweight. I have a history of disordered eating and the extra skin on the sides (which they sent me an estimate for fixing which was several inches) has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a little overweight. It's been months and my breasts not only look bad, but they hurt! Even with the weight lost from him triggering my eating disorder. He barely sees you during appointment, doesn't discuss possibilities, and didn't offer to show before and afters. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want support should the surgery not turn out well.

I was not satisfied with the care and surgeries I received with Dr. Testa. He and Angie are very pleasant, but too busy to take a breath and explain things. The whole office seems to always be in robot mode. If I knew which questions to ask, they were answered, but they do not proactively help you to understand your options and attend to you as a patient. It was a disappointing experience and I have found another plastic surgeon.

05/2018: Within 2 days of my breast reduction I knew something was wrong. My left breast was completely black and blue and I started bleeding out at every incision point. After multiple failed attempts to drain the hematoma, I continued to bleed for over a month, causing stretching, scarring and a deformed breast. After expressing concern about the obvious disproportion of my breast, I was told that because my areola expanded, it was giving the "illusion" that one breast was larger than the other. Dr. Testa went in and resized my left areola, which expanded again within weeks. They sent me to get a CT scan and an ultra sound- that left me with hundreds of dollars in additional medical bills. This experience completely drained my self confidence, but after two years of stuffing one side of my bra and hiding my breasts, I have finally saved up enough to get it corrected by another surgeon. Maybe I am just 1 of the unlucky ones, but I thought I owed it to others to share my experience
