Dr. Amanda Reese, DO

Dr Reese is not only a great surgeon but a wonderful person. She performed a hernia repair. On my first visit she took the time to do a thorough examination, then explained the condition, the process of repairing it, what would happen on the day of surgery, post-surgery care, and recovery time. She also talked about the recover time. On the day of surgery, she communicated with me pre-surgery and while I was in recovery. When she finished the procedure, she called my wife to let her know then came to the waiting room to talk to my wife in person. She is genuinely concerned about her patients and helping them recover.

Excellent Doctor who invests in her patients and clearly shows genuine care for the health of those she works to treat. In comparison to previous experiences I’ve had with other Doctors to treat and examine GI issues, she’s the tops, and I feel lucky to have found such a kind and honest doctor as a patient.

Dr. Reese removed my gallbladder. I am so glad that she was my doctor! I would chose her again. She paid attention to details and made me feel comfortable with the procedure before and after surgery. She promptly answered my questions. She and her nurse Julie are exceptional.

She saved my dad's life, he was very critical and she never left his side in those crucial hours. Was more than anything we could have ever dreamed of. My dad is doing great today thanks to Dr. Reece. I feel 100 percent sure that he would not be with us today, if it wasn't for Dr. Reece and the care he received from her. Forever grateful for her!!

Dr. Reese explained in great detail the underlying cause of my condition, the procedure she would use to correct it, and what to expect during and after the surgery. She handled all my questions, listening attentively and providing clear answers. I experiened almost zero post-operative pain. I hope I never need surgery again but if I do, I will certainly request that Dr. Reese be my surgeon.

Dr. Reese cut out my ingrown toenail. She is a wonderful doctor. I won’t want anybody else to do it. Her staff was wonderful and her office was super clean.

Excellent doctor who take careful time to explain the procedure. Post surgery was wasn’t painful as expected and I was back to work 3 days sooner than expected. Was recommend by another family member who was very thrilled w her care and prodessionalism.

She did a simple surgery on my mother and now my mother is in heaven a young woman only 54! 3 kids and 9 grandchildren now have to go on with life without her because of this doctor!!! If you care about you love one than find another doctor. RUN

Awesome Dr! She's very friendly and does a great job of explaining her procedures. I went to her because she was highly recommended and I'm glad I did. She preformed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy on me, everything went smoothly with no complications or infection. If you need a general surgeon, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Reese. I had my operation at Bluefield Regional and the staff there were great. Avoid Princeton Community Hospital at all cost! Go to Bluefield you'll be glad you did.
