Dr. Amy Miller, MD

Saw Dr. Miller in December 2023 and January 2024. My first appointment with Dr. Miller was excellent. I felt heard, and for the first time ever I had a doctor actually check for a reproductive issue that I have a family history of even though I don't have the 'typical body type' associated with the diagnosis. My second appointment with her was horrible. She was unwilling to listen to my concerns about side effects from birth control, unwilling to work with or even respond respectfully to religious objections to certain treatment options, and snappishly told me that I would never be able to conceive naturally anyway when I objected to being put on birth control when I knew I would be trying to conceive in six months. I honestly felt bullied. I have since found a provider who is willing to respect my religious beliefs and work with me to treat my condition in a restorative manner, without trying to bully me into treatment plans I object to.

I’m not sure where to even start. Dr Amy Miller is the best Provider I have ever had. So glad I found her. Her attention to detail is amazing. She really goes above and beyond for her patients. I recently had my first C-Section due to unforeseen complications with my pregnancy. I was so scared and high risk. She took such great care of me. She constantly reassured me and truly cares. She is so sweet and kind. The quality of care I received from Dr. Amy Miller was Amazing. So glad to have such a wonderful Provider. If you want a Doctor that goes above and beyond with your care Dr. Miller is it. I appreciate you so much Dr. Miller.

Worst doctor i have ever had in my life! I feel as though I've been butchered. I have never been treated so disrespectful by someone like this in my life.

Dr. Miller is an excellent doctor. She is skilled, knowledgeable, and has a caring bedside manner. Dr. Miller delivered my 2 children; both times she saw what was going on with my labor and communicated our options to us in a calm, direct manner. Her support and expertise enabled us to have the natural births that we wanted. She is very pleasant during office visits and always asks about my family. I recommend her highly!

Dr Amy Miller was an unpredictable doctor. On some days, she was warm and on others she was cranky and downright rude. When I spoke to her about my concerns about ultrasound and its link to autism, she said 'You are going to get an autistic baby' in a cold tone. And on another topic, I asked her if I can do certain activities and she said 'Unless you are homeless and on the streets without nutrition, you are fine' in an irritated tone. And it sounded like she does a lot of C-sections.

I have been seeing Dr. Miller ever since my husband and I moved to the Portland area (almost 3 years ago). I was 7 weeks pregnant with our first baby when I started seeing her. She is THE BEST doctor my husband and I can imagine having; she is very warm, patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about each of her patients/families. Shortly after our son was born, she discovered I had a skin disease and began treating it, which we couldn't be more grateful for. We couldn't recommend her enough!!!
