Dr. Ancy Maruthanal, MD

Good people skills. She follows up on any problems I have had at past visits. Willing to prescribe a new medicine. Would recommend to my friends

I've been a patient of Dr. Maruthanal's for about 5 years, she is an excellent primary care physician. In that time she has had two children, and yes it has been harder to get an appointment with her, but at your appointments she never rushes you and she is very caring and attentive to your health issues. I know at the end of this month she will be taking a hiatus from practicing medicine to spend time with her young children and husband. My wife, daughter and I will miss her while she's away.

Dr. Ancy Maruthanal is the best physician I have had! I've been cared for by her for a couple of years now. She is compassionate, patient, explains things well, is genuinely interested in what's going on with me. She provides guidance and suggestions clearly. She never rushes through our visits; she answers my questions. Her staff is wonderful, the office is very nice, the Meritas Health North Kansas City location is so very convenient...it's great!

I drive an hour and twenty minutes one way, that's how much I think of her. She's a excellent Dr.

Been a pt of Dr M for several years-well, I think I have been anyway. For the past year I have been unable to get an appt. I've called when sick & had to leave a message for the nurse. IF the nurse called me back she would send me to an NP at the local grocery or drug store. I just called again to get an appt for a physical & was told that Dr M was out until the first of the year & no appts until March so I asked to see a new physician in the ofc. I was told they don't see each other's pts!

I LOVE her!! I had been through 3 doctor's before I found her and finally got a diagnosis. She listens to you and answers all your questions. She takes her time with you and makes you feel like you are her only patient. I recommend her to everyone. This is truly what she is meant to be doing. She really cares for people.

Dr. Maruthanal has a gentle way of sharing her medical expertise so that you have a greater understanding of what may be in store for you. Her combination of thorough, cautious and proactive care left me feeling that I was in good hands.

I had been going to the same clinic for over 2 yrs when my internist retired. The morning of my appt w/Dr. Maruthanal I recd a call cancelling my appt because she couldn't come in. I was told that I would have an appt the next week. That turned into an appt in a month & I had prescriptions that I needed renewed. Several calls to nurse and then the office mgr finally got a response from mgr. Got my meds. I recd certified letter that I could no longer use this clinic. UNACCEPTABLE CARE!!!

She is very kind, listens completely and does her best to care for my issues. I am extremely happy I found her. I have only had to wait longer than 15 min 1 time. She always takes her time with my appointments. I am always able to communicate through her nurse.

Very considerate of time. Easy to talk to and does not rush through appointment.
