I have a disc condition and I found Dr. Alvarez after a lot of search trying to get a doctor that can help me with my back issues. I got to Dr. Alvarez office with a lot of pain in my legs due to a disc that was broken and pinched my nerves. I got surgery two weeks ago (October 7, 2024) and I need to say that was successful and I'm walking without any pain. Dr. Alvarez took care of me, he gave me confidence about the procedure and all what he told me about the surgery and the recovery process was exactly the way that happens. I can say today 'Thank you Dr. Alvarez' and I recomend him to anyone that have a health issues with the back and disc.

I have seen Dr Alvarez for over a year now for my lower back and a pinched nerve. He has always spent time with me to really explain my situation. And, he gives honest opinions and backs it up with information he shows on your x-rays and mri’s. I got news today that was not what I wanted to hear but, it makes sense for my particular situation. But, I appreciate his honesty and frankness. He is very straightforward. Another great thing he has is a very nice bedside manner. Top Dr is my honest opinion.

If you do not quite grasp the explanation, Dr. Alvarez will bring out models, xray films and point to where you problem is. He bends over backwards to make his patient feel comfortable and at home with him. He takes time to answer all your questions prior to your leaving the office, and then if you still have questions he is there to answer them. Also want to say great job Vanessa, Dr. Alvarez is lucky to have you as his nurse. Vanessa really goes beyond what her job calls for and if you have questions she gets right back to you.
