Mistakes made in office.
My mother has dementia and was seen by Dr Dulganuic in the hospital due to bright red blood in diarrhea. She performed an endoscopy but no colonoscopy. (Bright red blood indicates lower GI.) I wasn't happy with her attitude in the hospital. I took my mother ro a clinic visit the next. She prescribed medications which were picked up that day. The MD said to wait 6 weeks and bring her back to the clinic. Two weeks before that 6 weeks date she called and said my mother has missed 2 appts so she could no longer be her MD. She would not listen to anything and was hateful and dismissive. My mother was discharged with no colonoscopy and without having a bowel movement which would have been necessary to check for blood.

Dr. Dolganiuc is a great Doctor. She spends whatever time is necessary with each patient and is very kind. She is also very intelligent. I have great respect for Dr. Dolganiuc. We are fortunate to have a Doctor of this Caliber in the Beckley area.

Very disrespectful of patients
My wife was given a colonoscopy appointment for 8am. We sat in the waiting room until 10:30 and then we had to go look for someone to ask about the delay. Nobody deemed it necessary to tell any of the patients in the waiting room about a delay. In the meantime we spoke with several patients waiting for the same procedure and found out that at least 5 of us were given the same 8am appointment. So apparently, Dr Dolganiuc’s policy is to schedule everyone at the same time and then make them wait. And wait. And wait. This shows a total disrespect for the patients as human beings. Dr Dolganiuc should be ashamed.

I was a referral so I had not seen her prior to procedures, egd and colonoscopy. She was very kind before and after procedure. After procedure she came and spoke with me told me what she did, that I had hiatal hernia, ulcers and stomach very irritated and then left me with lots of meds to take. I had a boat load of questions for her at my post op appt. But by then she no longer worked for RGH. Did see another rgh dr for post but he really couldn’t tell me much because the report was vague and he did not do procedure. He says I have none of those problems and not to take the Meds prescribed. I had colonoscopy because of family history but egd I was getting choked on tiny things.

Very very nice and intelligent doctor. She took time and sat and explained everything to me. Was not rushed. She will answer the phone herself if nobody is available. So so happy I found her. She is one of the sweetest people I've met. You will not regret going to her. She is a genuine person who you can tell really cares about her patients

Extremely RUDE . Treated me as if I was just a number instead of a person with a serious problem. Came in the room , handed me papers for another appointment , did not offer to give me any answers , and left the room . Unless you are a gastroenterologist yourself , and can understand broken English , or know exactly what is wrong with you I would NOT recommend .
