Dr. Angela Piquard, MD

Dr. Piquard has been my obgyn for over 25 years and has performed three different surgeries on me, including delivering my premature baby by c-section. I’m one of those patients who never has things go as expected and each and every time she has been fantastic and thorough in dealing with all of my complications. I will continue to see her until she retires!

It has taken me nearly 13 years to articulate my experience with Dr. Piquard, my obstetrician. The delay in sharing this review stems from the process of understanding the events that unfolded. , I became pregnant, and for a while, everything progressed as expected. However, during a certain stage of my pregnancy, I observed a decline in fetal movement, a concern I raised during multiple visits with Dr. Piquard.Despite my apprehensions and attempts to convey my worries, Dr. Piquard reassured me after measuring my stomach that everything was normal. I later discovered that in cases where a baby is small, the body can produce extra amniotic fluid, masking the inadequate growth of the baby. I wonder if Dr. Piquard was aware of this phenomenon and why further testing wasn't recommended.Feeling the absence of the joy other expectant mothers experienced during our birthing class, I rushed to Dr. Piquard's office without an appointment, driven by my distress at not feeling my baby move fo

She is amazing , friendly, and care for her patient.. I am so glad I have Piquard as my OBG for my son , and also going to have a daughter in a few months. Piquard’s nurses are awesome too!

I have been going to Dr. Piquard for about 5 years now. She delivered my daughter and hopefully my son this summer. She has great bedside manner, is always happy to listen to concerns and answer questions. What I respect as a doctor is she respects me as a person, not just another patient. She's very knowledgeable and I have recommended many expectant mothers to her. I like going to her so much I drive an hour and 20 minutes to her office.

Dr.Piquard is very personable and thorough, from pre-natal care through menopause. She takes concerns seriously and offers solutions or creative options. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my closest friend or my daughter.

I have been going to Dr. Piquard for more years than I can recall. She came highly recommended from a Labor Delivery nurse I know. I appreciate her and her bedside manner so much, that I continue to see her during my trips back to KC, despite the fact that I moved out to the Boulder, CO area 6 years ago! She is very personable and has a way of making you feel comfortable despite having your legs suspended in the air while 1/2 naked. She is very professional and I would highly recommend her!

I have been going to Dr. Piquard for few years now and have had a positive experience so far. She takes time to listen to concerns/questions (even silly ones) and provide feedback/suggestion.. I feel at ease when I am talking to her!!

Dr. Piquard is not only my gyno, but she performed 2 operations on me (uterine ablation and tubal ligation). I am 31 and have never wanted children, and to her credit, she did not push back that I wanted to get a tubal. She is progressive, and respectful of her patients' wishes. I love that. She really listens. Surgery recovery was an absolute breeze.

Dr. Piquard is thoughtful and spends the necessary time with you to answer any questions and to chat about important topics. You never feel rushed or unheard. She is also just a genuinely kind person which also helps!
