Smart and thoughtful
I have been a patient of Dr. Schnapp's for nearly 20 years. She has seen me through routine checkups and an urgently scheduled hysterectomy. In my opinion, she is just what someone would want in a doctor - and certainly in an OB-Gyn. She holds an MD and a PhD, yet she is down to earth and wields her knowledge, experience, and training with ease. I trust her 100%.

Not the Best Bedside Manners - Fat Shaming
I went to Dr. Schnapp for a well woman checkup and Pap Smear in 2021 and I had one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor. I had just met with my Primary Care doctor, a different provider than Dr. Schnapp, for my annual check up and she prescribed me anxiety medication to help with some anxiety symptoms as needed. The next week I went in for my well woman appointment with Dr. Schnapp and she berated me about my weight, workout routines and told me she wanted to get me off of anxiety meds ASAP because it was my lack of activity that was causing my anxiety. She had a resident with her that watched her interrogate me for 5-10 minutes about how often I workout, what kinds of exercise I do and what my diet is like, until I was almost in tears. At this point my BMI was barely 30 so it just seemed excessive and also not applicable to the reason I was visiting. I'm sure she does a great job for some but my personal experience was not great.

Worst experience with Dr.Schnapp
I’m very disappointed with this hospital. Unfortunately in these days we can’t trust doctors anymore and have to pay double and check with more than one doctor before we make a decision.. I had a very bad experience with Dr. Schnapp and was promised wasn’t going to be charged but no one took an action yet.. Here is my story. I visited Dr. Schnapp because of a vaginal issue (I had a brown discharge every couple of weeks) and was scheduled for an ultrasound. The ultrasound result was an enlarged left ovary with hemorrhagic cyst. The doctor mentioned that the cyst size was very big and it will cause me pain and bleeding if left. I asked if it can be treated with medication, but she said no because of the size and this type of cyst never dissolves on its own and will require a surgery. The Dr told me to do the laparoscopically surgery as soon as I can and that was on August 31st, but I told her that I can’t do it until mid of October because of work commitment. So we scheduled the surgery

Dr. Schnapp explains everything in terms that any patient could easily understand. She doesn't suggest treatments that aren't necessary or more visits than are needed. I really like her and have recommended her to my daughters.

I have recommended many to Dr Schnapp & many of my friends have gone to her. I've yet to hear a single negative comment about their experiences. She's so friendly, likeable & caring, while still being very professional, knowledgeable, & informative. I've been seeing her for all 4 pregnancies, including a miscarriage - the level of concern in her eyes, the fact that she was so sad right along with me & offered me the warmest comfort, told me I'd never find another Dr I trust more than Dr Schnapp.

Dr. Schnapp has been my doctor for 10 years and she is thorough and understanding. She delivered all of my children and has cared for me in between the 3. She treats me like more than just a "patient" -she definitely knows me and my needs. She also has a great sense of humor and encourages health with monthly bike rides with her patients!

Dr. Schnapp was extremely rude, condescending, and disrespectful to me when I was a new patient asking her Nurse questions about my health. I would never go back to her and would never recommend her. I want a doctor who takes time to get to know who I am, and who treats me like a person, not a 'patient'.
