I appreciate the thorough attention each member of Dr Somani's Office and Staff afford me during each visit

Dr Somani was fine, her staff on the other hand is very unprofessional. As a trans person who doesn’t want to be there in the first place, the front desk lady twice yelled and asked if I had my ultrasound yet. This I believe is a HIPAA violation and humiliating as all the women in the waiting room stared at me. I would recommend them all getting some sort of transgender care training to avoid any future issues with new patients. Very disappointing experience.

I will probably be looking for another doctor. Without a single test being done she just blurted out hysterectomy. No other options provided. No discuss about what to expect before or after a serious surgery. It seemed like a money grab. Her go to option is the most beneficial for her. She was also kind of rough during the exam and didn't talk through anything. I have been depressed and barely able to sleep every since my visit with Dr. Somani. As a women she should have more compassion for other women and what we deal with medically.

I’ve heard of people being treated like money symbols and not as human l was treated similarly. They would gush over pregnant moms especially with the father present. They’d call them Miss. when it was my turn to go back they just said my name and keep their head in their papers not even making eye contact. Until I told her. You realize you treat me poorly as a single woman who needed a total hysterectomy. Which is enough. To lose the ability to have children. This staff is unprofessional and lack basic common sense to help you.

My YEARLY PAP & new Obgyn visit.I discuss my issues in last 15 yrs while in post menopause with fybroids. I am a senior over 60. After having normal paps every year I mention bladder problem. Somani's office sent me preliminary procedures on "hysterectomy" before any tests which I had asks for before suggestion of"hysterectomy". AS if it was my "only option" this sent me in shock. Somani set the MRI appts. Next visit set with her is 3 weeks later to discuss MRI results. I am 5 min early for follow up I waited 2 total hours waiting area/patient room. Somani took only 25 minute final Recommendation a "total hesterectomy" to be safe from "cervical cancer". I directed questions . I have NO ovarian or uterine /cervical issues but 1 large fybroids interfer with bladder and smaller growths. I will not go back to see Somani nor allow her access to do any surgery. I have Panick and depression attacks following this visit. Surgeries is more money.

Dr. Somani is extremely intelligent, thoughtful, and kind. She is the BEST doctor I have ever seen. She genuinely cares for her patients and takes her time explaining everything and answering all questions.

She was the first person to truly listen to me. I had always been brushed off about the pain I lived with, being told “this is just part of being a female”. After one visit with Dr. Somani, I was scheduled for exploratory surgery where adenomyosis was found. After discussing my options, I decided to undergo a total hysterectomy. With happy tears I can finally say I am living pain free. I can not recommend her enough!

My experience with Dr. Somani has been outstanding. She takes time to listen and understand. I have yet to feel rushed when I meet with her. I recently had a procedure she performed. She was thorough and did an excellent job of explaining my options. I trust Dr. Somani and have recommended her to several others.

I am so glad I found Dr. Somani. I saw two other doctors before finding her. She was the first doctor who took my symptoms seriously. She did testing and found pre-cancerous cells. Because of her careful and thorough approach she prevented me from having cancer!

Office staff very personable & helpful. Waited longer than usual in room but sign there that said switched system may be longer waits ( learning curve).

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Somani. She listened to my concerns, explained my options, and allowed me to choose the procedure I felt was best for me (after I consulted several of my other doctors). I could not have asked for a better outcome from my surgery. I felt good from day 1 and had essentially no pain. My incisions were small and healed well.

Dr Somani is extremely knowledgeable and just the right amount of precautious. Great bedside manor. She does what's best for mom, and more importantly, baby.

I would not recommend going to this doctor for child birth. She was very careless in making judgement calls on what decision to be made. I am ending up having to deal with all the issues I am currently facing with my children.

I would like to see Dr. Somani, but she's not interested in taking clients who have Marketcare, Medicare, self-pay, etc (i.e., me). It saddens me that Doctors can choose to refuse clients based on their insurance.

I have one of the rarest and most complex cases of genetic conditions any doctor has heard of. I'm thankful Dr. Somani listened to me. I have a case like she's never seen and probably will never see again. I had a surgery most women my age would not have gotten and my healing process was different. I'm appreciative of her help and the surgery I needed has already changed my life.
