My experience with her still haunts me.
I went to the UTMB Emergency room in 2021 with Covid. I am an elderly widow and have no family. Because I hadn't taken the jab, she was rude and unsympathetic about my discomfort. I tried to appeal to her better nature and asked 'what care would you suggest if I was your mother.' She said 'I'd tell her to get vaccinated.' And she walked out of the room. It was 2:30 in the a.m. and I felt terrible. I'll never forget her coldness. And I will do everything to avoid the UTMB ER.
