Dr. Peter is the most caring, compassionate doctor. He truly is devoted to his patients. He takes time to explain everything and answer all your questions. Also if you have to go to the hospital, he comes to personally check on you everyday. He is a doctor you can trust with your health. He is incredibly smart and knowledgeable and we are blessed to have him in our community.

Easy to work with , knows his stuff , didn’t panic or frighten me but was honest from each step we took to what needed to happen After surgery laid out a plan for recovery and life long heart health. Dr. Peter performed procedures to both my legs regarding circulation issues. GREAT results! I must also add not only is Dr. Peter knowledgeable in his field, but his demeanor, professionalism and bedside manner are extraordinary. He has set the bar high! Family member was seen in the ER for a heart attach and underwent surgery. Admitting Dr and group was taking care of her and Dr Peter walked in and stated he was now her cardiologist. Family requested the initial Dr several times to no avail. Follow up appt was made for 48 hours after discharge. 435pm the night before the discharge appt, his office called and cancelled because they don’t take that insurance. Asked for a referral or what to do, the instructions were to call her primary Dr and hung up. No apology or direction. Called the office back and they send their phones to the answering service at 430. Not sure how a Dr. can squeeze in to grab a patient, then deny them follow up care. It’s disgusting how healthcare and patients are treated due to what kind of insurance you have. Seniors on Medicare should be treated, not denied because an office manager/ physician doesn’t get paid as much. Obvious politics in hospital and lack of caring for patients needs is sickening & shameful

I have been a patient for 5 years. I have a Bi-V pacemaker with defibrillator for chronic systolic heart failure and am seen here for that condition. When I was called for my appointment reminder I was informed Dr Peter no longer accepted my insurance. 2 days before my appointment!! It will takes weeks if not months to get in with anotherl provider. I hope the next cardiologist I choose has more concern for their patients. What a disappointing end to my relationship with Dr Peter.

Dr Peter did a complete evaluation of my issue, prescribed the correct treatment, and gave me my health back.

Dr. Peter listened to my concerns and answered my questions. His explanation of my health issues and the later heart surgery saved my life. He is a kind man. His staff was very caring as well which was important to me as I believe it shows compassion and can change the world. I chose him and would do so again.

on time - staff are friendly, helpful and considerate - Dr Peter is the best! He listens, takes his time and explains things clearly. Explains exactly what he needs you to do and what the plan is for the next visit and longer term. I credit him with bringing me back to health. He also cared for a family member and gave him extra years of life with great management when his other doctors were not able to. He is very upbeat and you know he sincerely cares about you. Would never go to anyone else. I trust him completely.

Dr. Peter is a wonderful physician and heart specialist. I find his office staff friendly and courteous and could not ask for a better physician to care for me. He does a thorough exam and follow through with every visit. Best of all he listens!! He asks questions!! He is thorough and I trust him fully with my life and my wife's life. You are in excellent hands when your care provider is Dr. Peter. He also cares about how much medications cost and understands fully the cost of prescriptions. I highly recommend him to anyone who may have a heart issue, vein issues or just needs an excellent cardiologist!

While being prepped for an endoscopy, my blood pressure went very high. The gastroenterologist stopped everything and ordered me to see a cardiologist. Since Dr. Peter is my wife's cardiologist, he was able to get me in quickly. He ordered a battery of tests ,then called me to come in sooner than planned to hear results. It showed a blockage, so he planned a catheterization right away, after which we were informed that I actually needed open heart surgery! My situation was so dire that he kept me in the hospital until the surgery was performed, four days later. It was a triple bypass! I'm quite sure that Dr. Peter saved my life that day!
