My life is changed
I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Katchatryan and team. From the moment I was referred by a colleague, every step of the process was seamless and professional.Felisa at the front office was incredibly kind and efficient, ensuring that all my paperwork and insurance approvals were handled smoothly. I felt as though she was invested in me personally.Dr. Katchatryan himself was exceptional—thorough, knowledgeable, and always punctual. His professionalism and expertise immediately put me at ease. The surgery itself was outpatient, quick, and life-changing. The surgery center and team in Park City was amazing and attentive. He does more disc replacements than any other surgeon in Utah. Thanks to Dr. Katchatryan and his meticulous care, I feel like a new person. I never imagined I could feel this level of relief, and I owe it all to him and his outstanding team. If you are in need of a neck specialist, look no further. Dr. Katchatryan is truly the best in his field!

Unethical
I visited his office in July 2023. I went into the treatment room quickly. They took an Xray quickly. I waited for 50 minutes to see the Doctor. He didn't ever show up. I left and told the nurse that they shouldn't bill my insurance company. A year later, my insurance company received a claim and paid him over $600. His behavior is beyond dishonest. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

Office staff are incompetent
This is the worst Doctor experience I've ever had. Office personnel couldn't care less about the patient. Never answers the phone. Leave a message. Never returned my call. His PA has a bad attitude. After surgery I was never contacted to see how I was feeling. The pain level is 10 times worse than before surgery. The Doctor won't see me to explain what's going on. He has me see his PA so he can make more money on other people. This Doctor is not what I was expecting. Don't come here. You'll be disappointed.

Dr K installed my spinal cord stimulator in 2018, and helped me by adjusting the battery due to extreme weight loss and has always been very professional. He has a great bedside manner, I completely trust him with my spinal health. The staff there is amazing also. Thank you Dr K and staff.

Amazing results! I had two artificial discs placed in C 5-7 in my neck on 1/22/21. The recovery was more painful than I would have liked, but the results have been nothing short of a miracle. My neck has never felt better in 25 years. Surprisingly, it also eliminated the thoracic and lumbar back pain, also. I have no restrictions. Since the surgery I have been/done snowboarding, wakeboarding, backpacking, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, taken trampoline lessons with my daughter... I can't thank Dr. K enough! Prior to the surgery my right arm had gone permanently numb, terrible neck and back pain. I really couldn't move much at all for about 4 months prior to surgery.

I only trust Dr Khachatryan with my spine. He previously performed surgery on my lumbar (three years ago) and I couldn’t ask for a better outcome! I knew I was in good hands when the hospital surgical and floor nurses said, “Dr K is the best! He’s the one I’d choose to take care of me.” I have the utmost respect for Dr Khachatryan’s knowledge and expertise. He’s honest and straightforward, and, as a Detox Nurse, I love the fact he suggested (and taught me) a holistic approach for my neck and upper back problems. He respects the importance of not masking the pain with ‘a magic pill’, which is exactly what I wanted. If you’re looking for SERIOUS help or advice in regards to your spine, DrK is the professional you’ll want to see!

It's been two years post surgery. Two disc replaced in lower neck. Doing well but still experiencing nerve damage, but that wasn't his fault. I just waited too long. His staff is amazing, and I love that he spends time with you, and answers all your crazy questions. I would recommend him to anyone.

I didn’t get a chance to visit, and never will. First impressions are important, and this place screamed unprofessional from the second they picked up the phone. It seems like the receptionists care more about gossiping to the other receptionists than working. I have never called into an office and talked to such an unprofessional employee in my entire life, I was astonished at the way she was speaking to a CLIENT. I felt like I was talking to a sassy 16 year old that didn’t want to clean their room. It was like pulling teeth out trying to get her to listen to anything I had to say, WITHOUT her having a tone with me. After listening to her snap at me for 10 minutes, I hung up the phone and booked somewhere else (the receptionist there was very attentive and helpful, it was a night and day difference). The doctor may have been a great fit for me, but I refuse to book anywhere if I am belittled or truly don’t feel like they care. I dislike leaving bad reviews, but I feel it’s necessary.

Dr. K did a double cervical disc replacement in my lower neck. I'm 2 days post op, and feel great. Dr. K is the leader locally in disc replacement surgery. I would absolutely recommend Dr. K to anyone having issues with their cervical spine.

What an amazing Dr. I had major pain in my neck from a prior fushion, I didn't have much feeling on my hands and arm, he has done an amazing job doing a replacement, I now have feeling in my hands and arms. The one thing I appreciated and respected about him, is that he was upfront and honest and explained everything he was going to do in the surgery. He also didn't just come in, tell minamal info and leave He took his time and explained every pinpoint that was going on He will be my Dr. always

Dr. K is an amazing professional. I have had 2 back surgeries by him, both were life-changing for my mobility and pain. His PA Jeff Devaney explains everything and patiently. His nurse Lindsey is devoted to patient care. Combine the level of care and skill with a wonderful sense of humor and you have a winning team. But all of this begins with the best office staff ever. They are a positive force that start your care with their patience and care. I will refer anyone to this amazing team. Thanks!

Dr Khachatryan placed a spinal.cord stimulator in my back 4 months ago to treat nerve pain in my leg. This resulted in severe thoracic and rib pain way worse than the leg pain. I wanted to know the process to get it out if all the treatments I am doing for the new pain caused by the scs dont work. I was told to contact the abbott sales rep who basically told me to find another doctor. I emailed his office and received no response. Absolutely horrible aftercare if there are issues.

Run far far away. Mouthy disrespectful staff. Doesn't even close his own surgeries or make rounds. I've had multiple surgeries including back surgeries. I've never had such poor after care! Passed me off to a pain clinic because I am still in horrible pain. After talking to other people, that's where he sends his patients. Look elsewhere for another doctor. You only get one body. You are your own best advocate.

Awesome! 10 days out, I'm a pickleball coach and tournament player, was starting to have problems with my neck. Pain and numbness into both arms and shooting pain in my neck. A friend turned me onto Dr. K, the best thing I could have ever done. Already out and about walking and getting a bit of exercise. PAIN FREE! I know I'll need the same surgery involving my lower back and know right where to go. Thanks Dr. K Kevin Park City, Utah

I had 2 cervical discs replacement from him four months ago. The best thing I could ever do for myself. I’m in zero pain. I’m extremely active, exercising, and feel great. I have perfect neck movement. No restrictions. I carry my two-year-old grandson without pain. Dr. Armen Khachatryan was very kind and professional. I liked his work so much that I scheduled a lumbar fusion with him in the next three weeks. I wish I could do disc replacement in the lumbar area too, but the insurance says no.

I'm from Seattle and choose Dr Khachatryan because of his extensive experience with ADR surgery. I never write reviews but with the results and the quick recovery I want to help anyone else who is trying to make the decision to have surgery. I had my 2 level cervical ADR surgery on a Thursday and flew back to Seattle on Saturday. On the second day I was already walking three miles. I no longer needed any sort of pain medication after three days. I'm now 14 days post operation and doing great.
