While this may be a great Dr, I couldn’t seem to get to the point of actually scheduling time to see him. I was placed on hold for 20mins & after waiting, someone came back, didn’t say anything so I said “hello” & I was hung up on. I called back & was asked (with anger) if I was a new patient, I said wasn’t sure bc I’d been to see other Drs & I was placed on hold again & was hung up on again. After the 3rd time of being asked to hold, I shared that I was hung up on & the lady said “cause you’re not going to speak to me that way” however, I never actually spoke to anyone beyond being asked if I was new. She was argumentative saying she was doing her job, etc & I apologized for her having a bad day & she raised her voice more saying I wasn’t going to speak to her, etc which then got me upset. There was something behind her behavior such as Autism or Aspergers but I couldn’t get an appt & this experience is an indication of a bigger administrative problem at the top.

I saw Dr Syed for my pre op testing and he was fantastic. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about having my surgery. I would go back to him for any heart condition. I would also recommend him to family and friends.

Although Dr. Syed seems to be a good doctor. I have been awaiting what he considered an urgent situation for an MRI for months. Jennifer is supposed to know the system with insurance but she failed me as a patient. His staff does not care, they are rude and disrespectful. I included my insurance company on the phone and one girl kept cutting him off when he was attempting to give valuable information to help get my MRI approved. I would not recommend this doctor. If you not having a heart attack, you will have one messing with his staff. They are the worse.
