Dr. Atul Dogra, MD

He was very helpful in explaining what was going on with my pancreantitis and my gallstones in a way that I could understand. He even pulled out his cell phone and showed my diagrams of what everything should look like.

Dr. Dogra misdiagnosed my husband...initially saying he had pneumonia, then 24 hrs removing antibiotic stating his lungs were scarred. He had been taken off all of his medications at time of admission...on a Sunday...diagnosed with pneumonia. On Monday, Dr. Dogra changed his diagnosis and stopped antibiotic stating his lungs were scarred and no pneumonia. On Wednesday, after no sleep and very labored breathing, my husband almost collapsed....his nurse asked if he had heart issues?!!! She also asked if he was using diuretics?!!!??? We found out that my husband was never put back on his diuretics, and that he did in fact have pneumonia. They removed 2 gallons of fluid from his heart and lungs in 24 hours. He never recovered from that event. Dr. Dogra also chose to verbalize my husband's condition so cruelly that my husband had tears streaming down his face in a meeting.This doctor has no place in the medical profession.

Was able to view test results on mychart before doctor came in. When he did, he said the complete opposite of what they were. Was he even looking at the right chart? Did want to start antibiotics on an infection? What the heck is wrong with this doctor.
