Back surgery
I did all my research on lumbar laminectomy for at least 4 to 5 months prior to my surgery as soon as I was going down the hall under anesthesia he whispered to me if the procedure doesn't work I'm going to give you spine fusion I felt he had this made up in his mind already

Best doctor I’ve ever had
He is the sweetest man I’ve ever met, so thorough and explains what he’s gonna do and how he is gonna do it. He’s so kind and made me feel so safe, he was gentle and I am emotional writing this. He was gentle and the best doctor I’ve ever had. I would recommend him to anyone who is who needed neuro surgery. Still in recovery!

He came into my third appointment screaming because I didn’t agree with DX. It was scary to say the least. I have suffered migraines for a year. I asked for a second opinion and he freaked out he said no wasn’t going to happen it was just migraines he didn’t care that the radiologist says cancer he is the doctor. He knows better. He replaced my previous surgeon who retired for personal reasons who was going to operate then here comes this guy who won’t even treat my symptoms let alone operate. Do not go to him if want real treatment

Get a second opinion. I feel the same pain after surgery and recovery as I had before the surgery.

care philosophy

I view my role as being in a partnership with the patient. I take the time to listen and hear what they have to say to and delve into their issue, rather than just diving into a surgery based on objective tests. I believe you have to listen and hear what they are saying and feeling and apply that, as well.

biography

As a spine surgeon I concentrate on surgical diseases of the spinal cord, and surrounding structures like discs, bone and connective tissues. The typical patients I see will have neck or back pain or pain in their arms and legs caused by things...read more
