Dr. Azmi Nasser, DO

After 30 yrs of horrible debilitating back/neck pain, finally found Dr. Nasser! Is the best and I am not crazy about doctors based on everything I have been through. Extremely likable guy but wouldn’t care if he were a monster (he’s NOT), but he is GREAT!

I first met with him over Zoom call, because my husband and I live in GA. He called me back, as needed us to send CT scans as well. We spoke for 37 minutes! I could write a book about all that I’ve been through with my back and cervical for roughly 30 years. Also, he was extremely honest and actually told me something that was never in a radiology report and never mentioned by the many many doctors that I’ve seen, fusions, absolutel nightmare. I had my first lumbar fusion in 2009. The entire staff was excellent (husband agreed! He did endoscopic rhizotomy on SI joint (which contributes to low back pain but many docs never test it. He is the single surgeon that I have met that is so down to earth-PLUS. Did PHENOMENAL job on endoscopic rhizotomy! RFA is NOTHING in comparison, Dr. Nasser is absolutely the best!

I had sciatic pain to the point that I was limping thinking it was my hip. After an in office ultrasound and being correctly diagnosed by Dr Nasser I received an injection in my piriformis muscle which took away the pain almost immediately. I highly recommend Dr Nasser and his staff!

Best ever. I have had back pain for over 10 years. He is the very first doctor to show me my MRI and point out all my issues. He explains things so well and I am given options. I feel my back pain is less but there will come a point where I will need to decide on surgery. In the meantime I am very happy to have him by my side minimizing my pain the best way possible.

I have CRPS and was able to catch in acute phase. I had a series of Lumbar sympathetic blocks in the midwest by a Dr. who is writing the protocol for Acute CRPS. When I was coming back to AZ I needed to find a Dr who could do these blocks, successfully. Dr Nasser is the FIRST Dr here in AZ to nail this block EVERY SINGLE TIME! To say I am grateful for him is an understatement. I am getting my life back and able to walk, work and live with much less pain! God Bless you for all your skills and talents! I had tennis elbow. After seeing a 3 other doctors in a year, I was referred to Dr Nasser. My very 1st visit he listened and said he would fix my arm. He did an ultrasound right then to see the extent of the damage. To me that was extraordinary. Previous doctors took months just to schedule something like that. He saw the problem and took action. I didn't believe it was possible to have such a fast acting, attentive physician. He listens and he cares about his patients. Plus he's funny and kind. He is a no-excuse kind of Dr. He finds a problem and does his best to fix it asap. He did my elbow surgery and I can use my arm. I also had to see him for spinal injections and a radio frequency Ablation from a car accident. Both procedures were fast and almost painless. Im forever grateful for Dr Nasser and his team. By helping me he helped my kids and family. We can all get back to normal. He exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond. Thank you!

Dr. Nasser has done wonders for a painful condition I had because of a Rectal Ulcer post Cancer treatment. He did an ablation of the Pudendal nerves which have given me great relief. Dr. Nasser and his staff are fantastic and the treatments I have received both for my low back and Pudenal Nerve have changed my life. I highly recommend Dr. Nasser if you have a nagging pain problem.

My Husbands has been under the care of Dr. Nasser for the past 5- years! and it has been NOTHING but the best thing that has ever happened to my husband! without his care my husband would be in so much pain! and depression! but with the GREAT CARE! he has received! I want to thank Dr Nasser and his team, for getting me back on my feet! I couldn't walk or do anything without major pain. Dr Nasser looked at my MRI'S and started to figure out what was wrong. Dr Nasser didn't jump on having my vertebrae's fused. It's a process to find the cause.I so thank Dr Nasser for his patience with me and got this right. Just one more note. My husband had pain in his shoulder and neck, the specialist he went to looked at my husband's MRI, sent his assistant to talk to my husband, told him he needed 4 to 6 vertebrae's fused in his neck. I told them we would be getting another opinion. Went to Dr Nasser for a second opinion. Dr Nasser put my husband through different movements to see where his pain was. Dr gave him a shot, that was 4 years ago. DR NASSER is awesome. Because of Dr Nasser l can walk. I have my life back!!! Thank you Dr Nasser and your incredible staff, they kind and very caring ??

Dr. Nasser and his team are the best. I have been a patient for 13 years and Arizona Pain Treatment Centers has made it possible for me to function after my neck injury. Hands down, this team gets to the source of the problem, educates you, and then provides a clear treatment plan. The nerve ablations have been a life saver! Dr. Nasser has been treating me for several years for neck and joint pains. During our encounters I can feel that he genuinely cares about me and my health. Yes, procedures/injections were at the time necessary to treat my neck. However, he also explained to me that my terrible posture was a large cause of the pain, and that if I really wanted to fix my neck I needed to correct my posture. Hard truth, but he was right! Fast forward 3 years and not only do I look and feel better with corrected posture, but I haven't had to inject my neck since. Dr. Nasser will tell you the honest truth about the situation you present to him, and if you trust and work together with him, you will not regret it. The staff are also amazing! Doesn't return phone calls, even if you are an existing patient in the midst of a treatment program, it seems that any interaction must involve an office visit, which certainly is more conducive to collecting a copay and billing the insurance company.

Seems more interested in collecting co-pays and billing your insurance than a thoughtful and sensitive doctor patient relationship.
