Great Doctor!
She was extremely thorough, and she even reevaluated my former doctor's findings of me having psoriatic arthritis, which wasn't correct. Great physician!

Rude and dismissive
No empathy for chronically ill people. She argued with me that my primary symptom is not painful. She does not understand that it is not up to the physician to decide if the patient is in pain or not. She refused to read my test results from previous doctors. If you don't have a text book case of one of the major rheumatological conditions she will not know how to help you.

Arrived to her office with several autoimmune markers showing in my bloodwork. She lazily diagnosed me with fibromyalgia under 10 minutes, prescribed me with an antidepressant and said no need for follow up! Unbelievable. I got a second opinion and I had several autoimmune conditions diagnosis that I am now receiving adequate treatment and care for. All around, the worst and I'm not sure how she is still practicing. There must be a serious rheumatologist shortage or something

Avoid At All Cost
I saw Dr. Rezazadeh when I moved here after my previous rheumatologist urged me to transfer so I had a continuity of care. Dr. Rezazadeh made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. When she made recommendations, I asked for a letter to share with my work for appropriate accommodations, and she refused. When I asked when I needed to follow up, she told me I didn't need to follow up. No blood tests, imaging, or anything. She just diagnosed me with joint hypermobility. I went to see another rheumatologist, and after blood work that showed I had moderate inflammation along with imaging, I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. Man, does BSW know how to choose them.

Same as JD in Dallas. Not a coincidence. She said I have Ankylosing Spondylitis. Now she says she didn't say it. Where else could I get such a thing. Never heard of it before her.

Make appointment at your own risk
My experience was very similar to many others. Shes rude, appears to be self-righteous, and doesn't mind letting you sit in the waiting room for an extended period of time (I guess it makes her feel more important) before calling you back. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I may be sick because I am not "positive enough." If you don't have a success story that gets her face in D Magazine again, she will treat you like vermin.

Diagnosed me with “”fibromyalgia”” instead of looking at the x rays I brought in, which prove I have arthritis. Expensive and extremely long wait list to get no help whatsoever. I’m glad I found a much better rheumatologist in the area now, who is actually treating me for the arthritise I have.

I have seen Dr. Rezazadeh several times with my continued battle with arthritis. She spends ample time with me and I am never feeling "rushed". She outlines all of the possible meds I can take and offers to monitor my progress (or lack thereof) with each of these. She discussed possible side effects of each prescription as well as the benefits. She recommended physical therapy for my arthritis and related issues. I feel very comfortable in her care.

Changed to this doctor after her husband went out of practice. She didn't ask me any questions about medical history or any other health issues. She simply stated she wasn't going to prescribe the medication I've been on the last year (and has been positively life changing.) When I tried to explain why her husband prescribed it and what it does for me, she became very combative and cut me completely off by raising her voice. No partnership at all. STAY AWAY!!

I have a large folder of records which she could have had access to, but instead she verified that I could stand and push and then started changing my medications. One of which I had run out of and she was going to order thru Humana for me........I have yet to see that order placed. And haven'tg received from them my patient portal access after two days. My first reaction is not to refer anyone .to her.

I had a good experience with Dr. Rezazadeh but not with her staff. I called to reschedule my appointment and talked with Cindy who was very rude. I forgot the date she told me the doctor is available and I asked her if she could repeat it for me. She said it's really difficult for her to look through the schedule again. And her overall attitude was really bad. I never had such an experience for scheduling a doctor appointment.

Same as some comments below, I have been diagnosed with lupus for almost 6 years. After one visit her "service" called to tell me I didn't have lupus and quit taking my medication. I was told she was too busy for a phone call and I was welcome to go find another doctor. So frustrated now, still need to find a new doctor closer to home.

Two Drs diagnosed me with RA. I switched to her because of how close she was to my home. The first two appointments she said RA the third appointment for a med change she changed my diagnosis and got rude when i said i would not take meds for a condition that she came up with out of the blue. My other Drs (not RA related) told me to be wary of some of her test results as they did not corroborate with their findings... They were right.

Dr. R. is poor at communication and unwilling to explain a simple question either over the phone or through to portal. She is not friendly, and doesn't seem to like to explain things as she goes. On both appointments I had with her, i was left with a lot of questions, and no answers.

She quickly changed my diagnosis from one visit to the next based on latest test results. One day it's ankylosing spondylitis, the next it's degenerative arthritis, then seronegative R.A., then back to degenerative arthritis. Claims there is no connection between food sensitivities and immune mediated responses. I question her ability to connect the dots and see the big picture. Now I still have no pain relief and am thoroughly confused as to what the problem is.
