Most trusted doctor I have!
I have been seeing Dr. Knezek for about 24 years.....he has always been kind, compassionate, understanding and non judgemental. He has helped me manage my issues and has never, would never be dismissive, cold or non empathetic. There is no middle man with Dr. Knezek, no insurance, just straight pay (which is a lower rate than most Psychiatrists that "take" insurance). I truly trust him and appreciate all he has done for me over the years. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for honest, reliable and effective mental health care.

Been seeing him for over 15 years, now just quick med visits, more when I needed it. Recommended excellent doctors/therapists in other fields when I also needed them. Has never steered me wrong. In fact he changed my life! Does not take insurance, well none of the good ones do, Very respected by other doctors in North Texas. I’d eat Ramen noodles every day if I had to to keep him. Compassionate, up to date on the latest information, takes extra time if needed. THE BEST! And Dana is AMAZING.

The diagnosis he insisted on (never made sense to me)- was wrong. My next doctor "How could he give that diagnosis; you don't meet the DSM-V criteria!? The RX he gave you- OMG you didn't take it did you!?" For more than 1 RX- I asked - will this make me tired? He replied "no, not at all". I'd research- it was #1 side effect, tried med, failed, $ wasted, wait til next appt. and next bad RX. He'll say you can email him w/questions. Forget it. It annoys him and you'll get a rude reply. AWFUL.

Unfortunately, I've been to several psychiatrists, but I won the lottery when I found Dr. Knezek. I've been seeing him for several years and have never seen this man exhibit anything but compassion and understanding. He will spend as much time with you as you need - so, maybe he runs late - he would do the same with you if you needed extra time. He doesn't suffer fools, so if you are not serious about getting better, why should you take up a spot that a serious patient could use.

Dr. Knezek has helped me in ways that I could not put into words. He is a doctor that is truly there for you and is someone who understands what it means to be attending (attentive) when you go to see him. Also, his office assistant Dana is just as paramount to his practice. Together they work as a team to make you feel empowered and uplifted. Sometimes it is the things that we don't say that make the largest impact on someone's life; almost like the pause between musical notes.

I was a faithful patient of Dr. Knezek's for years. Showed up on time, waited for long periods in his waiting room, would finally get to sit in his office for a few minutes and tell him how things were going. For this I was handed a prescription blank and charged a lot of money. He doesn't take insurance. After all this loyalty, you will learn he doesn't care. He will kick you to the curb when things are going a little rough for him. Please keep looking for a reliable doctor who cares.

Dr. Knezek is a self-absorbed, selfish man. Some days he can seem concerned and caring; other days he is cold and heartless. Which Dr. Knezek is going to show up this time? He charges a mint for a few minutes' office visit and doesn't accept insurance, complaining the insurance companies are just rackets and are all rigged. You cannot count on Dr. Knezek to be there for you when you need him. Keep looking for a genuine doctor who is really going to help you in your time of need.

Dr. Kenezek is always behind schedule. Prepare to wait a good half hour for your appointment. Then he only talks with you and writes you a prescription. He doesn't accept insurance; so get ready to pay a couple hundred for a few minutes and a prescription blank. Additionally, you must do everything through the internet. His office assistant doesn't answer the phone. He has ice water in his veins; you are disposable. The most important thing to Dr. Knezek is Dr. Knezek. Buyer beware.

Dr. Knezek is a very good doctor. He doesn't waste time but gets to the core of your issues quickly. None of that "...and how does that make you feel" or "talk more about that ". That's fine if you just want to pay someone to listen but if you are serious about healing and moving forward then I haven't found anyone better than Dr K.

Dr Knezek is very nice upon meeting. I will say he does not take any insurance so be prepared for a very expensive first visit and expensive follow ups. I have a very similar experience as another individual on here. Really loved him to start with but when things got a bit wonky and i needed his support the most, he kicked me to the curb with lots of excuses.

At first I thought he was a really nice guy, we connected and I trusted him. However, medications are a powerful, tricky thing. The moment things got a little frustrating, he dropped me and left me high and dry during a very sensitive time. His words were hurtful and his actions and excuses inexcusable. If you want a psychiatrist who will take you seriously and stick with you-run.
