Dr. Basil Michaels, MD

I’ve have been seeing Dr. Michaels for the past 20 years for many services, neurotoxins, fillers, mini facelift. I’m am very pleased with all of my procedures!! He is the best!

Dr. Michaels is fantastic. His office works like clockwork, his staff is excellent. He is very careful to explain the whole procedure and possible limitations. His work on my eyelids was excellent. I would highly recommend him.

Had gone to Dr Micheals previously and he was amazing. So my trust was high for him to do a full face lift and "bags" removed from under eyes. First surgery left skin that needed "tweaking" with a second surgery. I now need find another surgeon to correct what he couldn't do on the first try. Even after the second surgery, I still have loose skin on my neck, "lumps" where he did fat grafting, a cyst in the incision on my eye lid,painful incisions behind my ears and more. He was dismissive and arrogant when I questioned him. His answer was,"well you look better than when you first came in". What Dr says that when your patient is showing you the inconsistencies. Advice- go to a surgeon that does ONLY faces, ask for photos of their "work". Two years later, it's going to cost me thousands to correct. I have no other recourse but to warn others.

Dr. Michaels is an excellent, highly skilled plastic surgeon. I am extremely grateful to him and his staff. Many thanks. Five stars.

Dr. Michaels is a phenomonal plastic surgeon. I highly recommend him. I had a breast augementation surgey with him nine years ago. I never left a review then, and I should have. People always rememner to leave a review when they are unhappy, and not enough when they are. Over the years, whenever I have told anyone close to me that I have had the procedure, they always ask who my plastic suregon was because they wouldn't have guessed. I finally remembered to leave this review today because I found a small cyst, and went for a breast exam. After the appointment my doctor said, "I have to ask how they put those implants in? I could not find any scars or evidence that you had surgery." I went through the armpit, and there are no scars, or scar tissue, at all. My father has also had skin cancer removed from his face twice by Dr. Michaels, and again, no scars. I had the surgery in my early 20's. I just pray Dr. Michaels does not retire before I need them re-done.

The experience was ok. Dr. Michaels is brutally honest ... perhaps over-manages expectations. Nothing wrong with that, just a little depressing. Overall it was good, but as far as other aesthetic treatments go, I would go elsewhere. Dr. Michaels doesn't seem very interested and it is probably better suited to the many devoted NPs in the area that are.

I really like Dr. Michaels, I have been at his office many times. He is professional, kind and has a wonderful attitude. After living in Florida for 25 years, it is necessary for me to be monitored yearly. I am happy I found him.

I had breast cancer. So I had a bilateral mastectomy with expanders put in. Theincisions became grossly infected. He kept telling me not to go to er .he even told me to fire my visiting nurse. I had second surgery a month later in 10/18 to open both sides, clean up, cut away dead skin and sew back up with drains again. It took a full 2 months from original surgery till I was healed enough to start chemo. Started chemo a month behind schedule because of this. So fillswere put offfor months. The,he did complete fills in just 2 visits. My skin was over stretched and paper thin by the time I went in for exchange surgery on 5/6/19. So he said he had to cut off all paper thin skin and would have to have smaller implants. Ok. When I came out of surgery, he told nurse to keep an eye on one spot that kept bleeding. The next day he had me come to his office because that spot kept bleeding.he said he could see the implant so he was going to perform surgery right then and there in the exam room.

Worst treatment and surgery result a family member has experienced. Left office after botched surgery and unsatisfactory response. Doesn't listen to the patient. Had assistant perform it and denied anything was amiss. Offered to "fix" it but said it would be an even worse result. Unbelievable!!!! How unprofessional and prideful.

Had some facial moles removed. Dr Michaels had incredible bedside manner and made me feel comfortable and at ease. The scars heals beautifully and I would return with any other concerns. I highly recommend Dr Michael.

My skin is radiant after receiving multiple IPL treatments. The fillers fixed the hollow looks beneath my eyes. I look younger and I didn't even have surgery!
