Dr. Bassan Allan, MD

I was referred to dr allan by the cancer specialists and dr allan conducted my surgery. 2 days after the surgery it was infected and he prescribed me antibiotics. After antibiotics my incision was broke open to the meat. I spoke to dr allan about it and he told me it wasn’t bad and he put steri strips on it. The drainage caused the strips to come off and my neck is still wide open. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He does not actually care about his patients well being.

Dr Allan is one of my favorite doctors. He is so friendly transparent and honest. He really supported me in the decisions that I needed to make that were very difficult. I believe he truly cares about his patients. He was always available if I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend anyone that has issues that he can help with that you certainly consult with Dr Allan.

Dr Allan is an amazing surgeon. This is my husbands second surgery. Although he could not do a scope on either his liver or pancreas he still did an amazing job. He calls you back when you leave messages. He doesn’t rush you through an appointment. These doctors are hard to find . His staff is also very good. Polite helpful. Love Nadia the receptionist. Dr Allan is undoubtedly a great minimally invasive pancreatic surgeon. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. We went to most of the leading centers in the country before deciding to get the surgery done by Dr Allan. I recommend him in the highest terms to any patient who needs pancreatic surgery.

I can't recommend Dr.Allan more highly. He literally saved my life. His skill is unparalled. He treated me with kindness and dignity. Thank you, Dr. Allan.

Dr. Allan has provided me with excellent care. I have been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer and, because of his expertise, travel to Ft. Myers to see him. He is very thorough, and I have the utmost trust in him.

Feb of 2019 Dr Allen removed 1 /2 my husband pancreas and some tumors. We were told they were benign. The summer that followed was awful. We called the office telling them he continued to lose weight. 58 lbs w we told them he was not eating. They said with his age 75 it takes longer to get better. In Oct we went to the emergency room they ran test for 6 hours Result stage 4 pancreatic cancer. NO I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS DOCTOR. My husband died 10 weeks later. Dec 22. NO I WOYLD NOT RECOMEND THIS DOCTOR

Dr. Allan’s office staff was kind and comforting. They were very professional when I first called. I met with Dr. Allan to discuss surgery on my small intestines. Other Surgeons that were closer to where we live were not comfortable doing this particular surgery. Dr. Allan had already studied my case before I even walked through the door. I was impressed he knew so much about me and the surgery I needed. I am now 1 week post-surgery and feel sore but great. He did an excellent job. We drove almost 3 hours for the right surgeon and it was worth every minute of the trips. I would recommend him to anyone that wants their surgery done right.
