I saw him initially for evaluation of possible hyperparathyroid issues. He explained the diagnosis, and possible outcomes for no treatment. I ended up receiving parathyroidectomy. Still recovering but pleased with the results.

Dr. Leff is great. He listens and gives you a written care plan in your hand before you leave!

No faith in this doctor
Dr. Leff is always late. Every appointment I waited at least an hour. He has no sense of urgency and his staff were rude and did not even inform the waiting room that he was held up at the hospital. Called once and was told he is too busy and would not have time to call me or my insurance company. Came to see him for pulsatile tinnitus. He order CT scan to look for a small tumor. Had to call for requested information because CT order was put through with wrong code and could not be approved. I have sigmoid sinus diverticulum and intercranial hypertension. He told me I just need to ignore it. This man needs to read a journal article once in a while and see what advances have been made in this area. I am sorry for all the people he has recommended to just 'ignore' symptoms because they 'don't usually do anything for that'. Absolutely incorrect, and seeing real docotrs that can help with both issues. This man does not respect people's time or intelligence. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR

Do not recommend
I do not recommend Dr. Leff for a variety of reasons. Was more than an hour late for the appointment. Did not apologize. Did not listen to my concerns. Did not appear concerned for me as a patient.

I had an appointment at 1:45 arrived early, only to be informed that they have been trying to reach me to inform me my appointment has been canceled since there were no Dr's in the office. When I inquired what phone number they have been calling, she repeated the phone number and I informed her they had the wrong number. She than started to become rude and condensing. While we were discussing the phone number issue, she never apologized for having the wrong number and made it seemed like it was my fault. During the conversation, her attitude became worse, she was not helpful, and seemed annoyed that I was there. I have never encountered a medical staff that rude and not wanting to help the patient. What is happening to our medical field? Even though she did not have a medical degree she is the representative of the Dr's office. After encountering that kind of service will not return and will not recommended their service. I called my Dr., requested a new referral for a new Dr.

AWOL doctor
I had a 9:15 appointment and arrived at 8:50. Paperwork and co-pay all sorted out and no other patients in the office (until after the PW was completed). Waited until 9:45 and finally walked up to the reception desk to enquire as to when I might be seen (I had to go to work soon). I was then told that Dr. Luff hadn't arrived for work and wasn't in the office. Ok, I get it. He's well-known for not having great interpersonal communication skills, and the good doctor might have had a personal emergency or something like that ... But why, especially since his staff knew that: 1) I was waiting for him, and 2) knew he wasn't there ... didn't they *tell* inform me he was running late (or wasn't going to be in)? My drive to this office is 30 min. both ways ... I had to leave. Unreal ... Unprofessional ... Please accept my personal 'fickle finger of fate' award. Please also remit my $30 co-pay.

I went to this doctor's office 20 minutes early and waited another 45 minutes and spoke with a staff member that told me that there was one person ahead of me and that there was another person with a nosebleed that was ahead of that person. At that point was obvious to me that this doctor doesn't care much about patients he cares about money, seen that he must have overbooked his appointments! I would not recommend going to this doctor unless you're retired or have a lot of time on your hands to sit around waiting!

I went in for an ear problem, and received no help whatsoever. His advise was to get a hearing aid. What a jerk.

I wished I had looked up Dr. Leff on healthgrades before I accepted a referral to him. This man gives assessments without having all of the information and his arrogance is very apparent. I tried many times to provide background to symptoms and he refused to listen, even refuting other doctors in his field. Even his personality is off putting and cocky. Of course I prefer confident doctors but Dr. Leff is not one of them, he will end up misdiagnosing someone because he thinks he knows it all. No thank you

Dr Leff has been excellent at treating my particular ear situation. I have had ear issues for many years and have had difficulty finding doctors that were knowledgeable enough to understand my situation. He has been professional but also caring. His staff has been wonderful as well. Deborah his MA was very helpful when my ear flared up while on vacation and got me medicine to take care of it until I could get back.

Never, have I ever, been to a doctor that showed so LITTLE professionalism. I should have walked out as soon as I saw how nasty the waiting room was. But I stayed cuz I need to see an ENT and they were able to get me in the same day; no surprise after I met the doctor. He would not listen to my background nor my symptoms. He was more interested in what HE had to say. He needs to learn to SHUT UP AND LISTEN. In short, NO satisfaction. Wish I had waited and gone ANYWHERE else.

Dr. Leff is an excellent doctor. I trust his skills as he works on me. When he asks questions, just give him facts, not opinions. He will check things out and tell you the problem and options for dealing with it. Sometimes he seems a little sarcastic, especially if you're questioning his wisdom or just avoiding reality by trying to sound smarter than him. He's a great doctor.

This man basically told me I my condition would be better suited for psychiatric help, even though I have been seeing neuro physical therapist who has confirmed I have some kind of right inner ear issue. She referred me to him to find out why, he told me he would run a few more tests but basically told me it was just a panic disorder and told me that I had no more excuses to be missing work if he had patients who are more sick than me and could make it to work. He barely let me speak.

Took my daughter in and Dr Leff treated her like his own daughter, recognized a serious health condition that other doctors missed, and performed aggressive procedures that saved my daughter future problems and suffering, we highly recommend Dr Leff.
