Treatment of OCD of the Knee
Dr. Heyworth is amazing. We travelled from Florida to Boston for our son to be cared for specifically by him. He is very knowledgeable and was proactive with treating the condition. He seemed truly concerned with our son's case and invested in getting him back up and active again. Both Dr. Heyworth and his staff always treated us kindly and with respect. I am so happy we made the trip to see him and that our son was able to have his surgery performed by him and the wonderful staff at Boston Children's. Thank you all so much for great care and making it the best experience we could have had.

Caused damage to my daughter during surgery. Her leg is worst than before surgery. Absolutely the worst doctor. Do not put your child in his hands.

Dr.Heyworth was confident, thorough, and to the point. He listened to my daughters concerns and wishes for recovery. He performed an extensive knee surgery and for the 1st time in 5 years she is pain free. Dr.Heyworth was our 2nd opinion after limping along with another surgeon. We wished that we had gone to him 1st.

Dr. Heyworth operated on my daughter's complex broken femur in late 2020. He was very professional and thorough in walking us through the options for her recovery. He outlined the pros and cons of different recovery plans. Ultimately we chose surgery and it went perfectly. She is almost fully recovered. We have found him to have a great bedside manner and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Heyworth surgically repaired a badly broken clavicle for my 12 year old son and then 8 weeks later repaired a tibia spine fracture(ACL) for the same child. He was considerate, respectful and help us understand all our options, risks and outcomes. I am so grateful to have had him treat our son. Unfortunately, we have had to see multiple surgeons in this practice and they are all an amazing group. I would hesitate to recommend Dr. Heyworth.

He was phenomenal with my daughter's knee injury. He saw issues on her MRI that 2 previous, (highly renowned), orthopedic surgeons did not see and was able to schedule her surgery in a timely fashion. Highly recommend for any teen sport related injury.

Dr. Heyworth should get his lic revoked. Terrible bedside manner accused us of child neglect on a small fracture. Took us through the ringer and sent us to Boston to run all these test to be cleared of anything. If I could give 0 stars I would. This Dr. has terrible bedside manner accusing my wife of incorrect statements and questioning her on every aspect over something so minor it will be healed in a few weeks He should be ashamed of what he put us through A complaint will be filed on his lic
